This is a unique restaurant with candlelit on every table. Great place to go for a special occasion. Service is personable and timely.

There are multiple items on the menu that you will want to have. Nicely cooked , great staff and so convenient if staying at the lodge!

The building is loaded with atmosphere: an old coach house, supposedly, in red brick, along Rte 41 in Sheffield (where, by the way, there are no really good restaurants, so, to say that is the 2nd best restaurant in Sheffield is meaningless). There are rooms in outlying buildings, which, the last time I stayed there, were moldy. And the food... More

A lovely historic structure in a woodland setting. The dining room is exactly the sort of colonial era, exposed brick and beam, fireplaced setting you imagine when you think of the Berkshires. The food, unfortunately, was just OK. Maybe it was just the selections at our table, but the dishes were bland and uninteresting. The waiter knew surprizingly little about... More

Candles everywhere. I had boar ribs. Excellent tangy sauce. Swiss chard was great. Service was excellent. Water never empty.

Great Friday night spot for a perfectly prepared, thick and juicy burger. Cozy atmosphere with a fire in the fireplace. Attentive service. Recommend.

Liked everything--excellent,. imaginative food and friendly smooth service. The restaurant is laid out on several different levels, many of them small areas, creating intimacy and a sense of relative privacy. Prices were reasonable, and wine selection quite large and wide-ranging.

I was staying at Race Brook Lodge and had dinner here the first night. I was alone but didn't feel uncomfortable dining along here. I could have had a bit more light so I could read more easily while dining alone. A nice variety of food on the menu - interesting combos and locally harvested foods featured. It was tasty... More

Love the Stagecoach. Our "to go to" place in the Berkshires. The atmosphere and food are always divine. They focus on local farms and it is reasonably priced. They also offer half portions on some of the menu items, which is a really nice touch. Eating here on a cool fall evening when the fireplace is lit, candles going and... More

Stagecoach has a candlelit cozy ambience that is perfect for a romantic dinner. The food was wonderful and dinner was paced well. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.
