Great for a special evening

We've been here several times in the dining room and have attended several special events, as well. There is a lovely private upstairs room we have used for small group gatherings. We like the historic atmosphere and the attentive staff. The food is consistently excellent, as is the service. I'm... read more

They have a private room upstairs for 8_14 people around one large round table. We always go with my family to celebrate anniversary. Food is excellent. Highly recommend it.

Excellent food and service in an historic setting. The pub is cozy & casual. The dining room is a beautiful authentic colonial tavern. The pub and tavern menus offer a wide variety. Award winning wine cellar. All desserts are made in house. There is nothing average about this place - it excels in every way.

This place is awesome! it is a little heavy on your wallet, but the food is amazing! I had the swordfish and it was the best I have has in a looooong time... If you are visiting Scituate, this is a fine dining and has a pub as well depending upon your mood. The best part is that you still... More

I rarely get anything else. Grilled, Blackened, Mediterranean, or Chef's special preperation...it doesn't matter how you get it, amazingly tender and cooked to perfection every time. Nice atmosphere in the pub. A little stuffy in the dining room for my liking.

Love the pub for a great meal in a casual setting. Specials are always interesting, but can't resist that swordfish on most visits.

This is a quaint New England style restaurant overlooking Scituate Harbor. When we arrived the parking lot was full and I was afraid it would be very noisy; apparently a wedding was booked but you would never know it from where we were seated. The service is professional, friendly and attentive. This was not my first time dining here and... More

For the last year I was determined to find the best swordfish in New England and Polcaris Bridgeway Restaurant so far was leading the pack. A friend of mine told me about a place in Scituate called Barkers Tavern and said that they had the largest and best Swordfish ever. Not to leave one out of the mix I was determined... More

This visit tried to get into pub area, less expensive menu, but too crowded. Very nice staff brings us to main dining room and allows us to order from pub menu. Lovely place, food just so so though. Many very nice aspects to this resturant but for some reason just not great. I've eaten here on numerous occasions, not my... More
