Great Capt and Crew

We went for the $9.00 lunch as advertised on the radio and didn't expect too much. We were pleasantly surprised. The fish sandwich was two large pieces of Haddock on a nice roll with a generous side of fries also delicious. This came out after a bowl of soup and the entree had a dill pickle and... read more

Handicap parking good. Restaurant clean and comfortable. Not many customers at 2:00 p.m. which was why only one waitress but still efficient and friendly (with a good memory of the specials). I wish the food could have been better. My wife had the Cape Reuben which was plentiful but just OK. I had the Clam Strip Plate which was all... More

My husband and I had our first meal on the cape at this little restaurant. What a perfect meal for a weekend getaway. Attentive, friendly waitstaff. Great food. I ordered the seafood pot pie, if you love shellfish this is the dish to order. I recommend giving it a try.

My wife and I wanted to find a new restaurant in the Sandwich area. We both had great meals for a very reasonable price. The food quality was exceptional. Judy was our server, and she was very knowledgeable on all the specials of the day, and had warm personality.

My parents and I were on the cape visiting my college roommate. My dad wanted to visit the Heritage museum and we found this place on a random web search. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. It was AMAZING. I had leftovers and couldn't wait to eat them. I hope to go back soon.

Hubby and I ate here twice during our visit to the Cape. Both times we had the stuffed quahog, shared the first time, ordered two the second time! They are very, very good. We each had the seafood potpie the second time we were there. It came in an enormous soup bowl. Scallops, shrimp, fish, potatoes and vegetables in a rich... More

My husband and I have been coming here for over 2 years for lunch after Canal bike rides. We've never been disappointed. Our most recent visit he had the clam chowder and lobster roll..delicious. Another favorite is the clam strip plate. My go to dish is the crabmeat sandwich or fish taco. Both generous portions, always take half home. The... More

Since one was in New England, a lobster dinner seemed to be the right thing to do. We drove to the Cape Cod route but stopped in Sandwich for dinner. Captain Scott was not far from the road and we enjoyed a good meal. The service was also very good.

We haven't been to Captain Scott's in over 5 years but decided to have dinner there after hearing an ad on the radio. We both ordered from their $12 dinner combo specials including salad, dinner and dessert and were very happy. I chose the baked schrod and my husband had the swordfish tips. The service was attentive, fast and polite.... More
