great food, friendly service, varied menu, and reasonable prices, for lunch and dinner, captain scitts more than shines in every category. the restaurant is parallel to rt. 6a, and can be overlooked by the inattentive driver. take a little time to find this hidden gem. you will not be sorry.

This has been a long-standing restaurant - not fancy, but good food. It is a nice place for families.

The food was very good and the servers were friendly. We ordered the dinner special which consisted of fried clams, fried fish, potato and side dish for $13. Everything was very good. We would definitely come back the next time we are in MA.

3 of us had lobster. It was awful, had probably been pre boiled then attempt at reheat when ordered. Lobster had NO flavor, was COLD and dry!! First time ever that I did not finish a lobster!!!

Nice experience. Waitress was friendly and not pushy. We got a good explanation on the dishes. Prices are ok. We enjoyed the seafood and we all could choose what we liked on a toast, with pasta, ... Wine was not too expensive. Good place to eat.

Stumbled upon this restaurant completely by accident. The food was amazing. We went on a Tuesday around 2pm. Apparently on Tuesday, they have a half priced lunch menu. I had the Bay Scallop Mac and Cheese, another guest had their burger, and my mother had a salad and added chicken to it. All three dishes were incredible. Best burger and... More

We wen t for an early evening seafood meal, good thing to do when by the sea. Except, as we had children (who were better behaved than some of the more grown up other patrons) we were sat in an areas seemingly reserved for families. The food was moderate, mostly fried, tasty but a bit expensive. The waitress was lovely,... More

Quaint old style clam shack that's been remodeled and added on to. They have both an indoor and an out door bar area. It was raining the day we went so the outdoor bar was closed or is only open at night. We had dinner in the a/c'd side room. We started with a cup of soup. Hubby had the... More
