This was a great meal for a very reasonable price. The batter on the clam strips and shrimp was wonderful, very light and crispy. the seafood was undoubtedly fresh. A little sage on the steak fries was a great touch. Good service and even a very nice soundtrack...

Years ago this was the place to get the best Lobster Bisque . Hubby and I used to love doing lunch there. I was recently very happy to have won a gift certificate , so hubby and I went there today for a bowl of bisque and a stuffed cohog. When we walked in all I could smell was old... More

Went there on a Sat night for a light meal of a good soup and salad. Bad idea. No wait time should have been a clue. I had probably had the worst clam chowder ever. As another reviewer wrote, the broth had a bad consistency, like they had added flour to thicken it, potatoes hard, clams chewy. My husband had... More

Captain Scott's was a very pleasant surprise. We have often passed it trying to avoid traffic during the summer on Cape Cod. We won't be passing it up anymore. With their $12 three course meal is sure to please. The meals are ample and absolutely delicious. My husband had pork chops with risotto and I had the fried clam strip... More

We happened upon Captain Scott's and decided to go in for some lunch. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and the price of the seafood we had! My boyfriend has a piece of striper that we were informed was just caught and he enjoyed it very much! I had the crab cakes that were just a little bit too... More

I'm pretty sure they hire the servers for their looks and personality, not for their experience. Our waitress never took anything off of our table. Even as I had to clear dirty dishes and glasses away for her to make room for the main course. I had to remind her that we wanted our chowder before the meal, so it... More

From the moment we entered we were pleasantly surprised. The decor clean and crisp ... The service excellent ... And the food fabulous! We will definitely go out of our way to return to Captain Scott's next year.

Been coming here for a long time and have never been disappointed. The lunch (and dinner) specials are terrific and incredibly low-priced for what is offered! Seafood soup great, as was the salmon sandwich and desert. Great, friendly service from "Judy" - wonderful atmosphere - plan to return whenever I'm on the Cape.

This is a great year round spot. A wonderful variety of well prepared fresh menu items prepared by people who obviously care about getting it right. The regular menu is bolstered by nightly(?) 3 course specials that are an unbeatable value. If you’re in the area and you’d like to have a memorable meal in a cozy local restaurant that... More

After thirty years away we returned to this restaurant. The decor both inside and out was cozy but comfortable. The four of us ordered a wide variety dishes from mussels to lobster. All dishes were very enjoyable. The fried clams were especially lite and tasty. The side dishes were cooked to perfection. Try the corn and onions they were outstanding.... More
