This is part of a small chain of restaurant/pub locations here, and they are all pretty good. Great? Not so much, but reasonable in terms of price and not bad in terms of service and quality. The British Beer Company has a very attractive and varied menu and their entrees are in the $15-20 range. Yesterday we has a piece... More

After waiting 2 hours for takeout that was supposed to be ready in 1/2 hour we will never again give them our business! Total nightmare for so many families who also waited. Very poor service and they still shorted our order.

I don't know why they struck themselves as a British pub. We spent many years in the uk and this bears little resemblance to a decent pub. The waitresses are more keen on chatting to each other than doing their jobs, the food is ok. This isn't worth a special visit and we only went because our motel was next... More

Can "family-friendly" really describe a "pub?" The answer is "yes." Case in point is the BBC's Sandwich location, replete with traditional British bric-a-brac and tapestry's that even prompted one of my girls to declare that it reminded her of the "Swiss Cottage Pub" in the Maida Vale section of London ("Dial 'M' for Murder"). It's quaint, woodsy, and traditional. Fires... More

Arrived in Sandwich late Thursday night. Went with friends, seated quickly and enjoyed an excellent meal. Did the beer sampler and pizza. Arriving with the pizza the waitress said the chef had another pizza in the oven for me as he felt the one I had was a little burnt. Both were fine but I much appreciated his pro-active service,... I went to this restaurant last Saturday night. There was only a few minute wait, which wasn’t bad at all. We then sat down and ordered, which was also very timely. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken wings for an appetizer which was very tasty and i do recommend. We then waited a very long time, about an hour for dinner.... More

We had a meal at BBC and it was delicious. The prices are a bit steep for dinner but the Sweet Chili Salmon I had was as good as it sounds. It is not a place for anything but pub atmosphere. The service was good and the staff friendly. The Sgt Pepper Steak my husband had he said was very... More

My wife and I often stop at the British Beer Co (BBC--very clever!) on our way off the Cape. The interior has three sections: 1) the bar, 2) a louder, more crowded area, and 3) a smaller, quiet room with a wood burning fireplace set off from the rest of the restaurant. We've sat in all three depending on what... More
