Went here after a college ball game. Food was very good and prices fair. Live music was good - did not feel like a chain restaurant but rather an english pub. Handy location on highway but you have o keep an eye out at night for entrance (like most places along this strip of road in Sandwich). You'll not be... More

My wife and I took our 5 year old grandaughter here for dinner. Lily had the kids chicken finger meal. She loved it and even liked the honey mustard dipping sauce. My wife and I had the New England pastie. It was very good. The turkey inside the delicate pastry crust melted in your mouth. The service was fantastic! I... More

I've never been one to go to chain restaurants while on vacation, but tried BBC because it looked interesting enough from the outside. We had great food and friendly service. When I couldn't decide on a beer, I was able to get a beer flight which was really enjoyable. I had a delicious thick piece of cod with mashed potatoes.... More

We go to the BBC every year when we're in Sandwich and always have a great meal. Being from England I wouldn't say it's very British more American but it's always good.

This is part of a small chain of restaurant/pub locations here, and they are all pretty good. Great? Not so much, but reasonable in terms of price and not bad in terms of service and quality. The British Beer Company has a very attractive and varied menu and their entrees are in the $15-20 range. Yesterday we has a piece... More

After waiting 2 hours for takeout that was supposed to be ready in 1/2 hour we will never again give them our business! Total nightmare for so many families who also waited. Very poor service and they still shorted our order.

I don't know why they struck themselves as a British pub. We spent many years in the uk and this bears little resemblance to a decent pub. The waitresses are more keen on chatting to each other than doing their jobs, the food is ok. This isn't worth a special visit and we only went because our motel was next... More

Can "family-friendly" really describe a "pub?" The answer is "yes." Case in point is the BBC's Sandwich location, replete with traditional British bric-a-brac and tapestry's that even prompted one of my girls to declare that it reminded her of the "Swiss Cottage Pub" in the Maida Vale section of London ("Dial 'M' for Murder"). It's quaint, woodsy, and traditional. Fires... More
