We have dined at the Daniel Webster numerous times and it is usually top notch, but on Valentine's night (Friday 2/14/14) we were shocked at the size of the drink my husband ordered at the bar. He ordered a Johnny Walker Black on the rocks, and he received a glass with a quarter cup of scotch and ice combined. We... More

Mary C ~ Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your Valentine's Day dinner; although we certainly don't like to hear of experiences that were unsatisfactory. We do, however, know that the only way we can fix issues is to know about them; and for that we are very appreciative. If you have time; our Dining Room Manager, Andrea Tierney,... More

Went there for lunch on a Saturday. The parking lot was packed at 1:00pm so we knew we had found a very popular spot. It was packed in the restaurant but since we had reservations we were seated immediately. There was a birthday party at a neighboring table and the noise was so loud we could hardly talk. The server... More

We came in from the cold and were seated in the tavern where there was a blazing fire and, blessedly, no TVs like other restaurants feel compelled to decorate with. Big menu. Choose a plain burger or more elaborate meals like perfectly baked fish with asparagus and sweet potatoes. Soups were exquisite. Indian pudding served warm. The perfect special ocasion... More

Vast menu for any foodie, from duck to pad thai, truly a multi dimensional chef for sure. Each meal is done so well. It is obvious the chef respects all ingredients he uses. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.... outstanding. Exceeded our expectations and made the anniversary getaway more memorable.

After reading reviews and descriptions, my husband and I went to dinner at the Daniel Webster Inn. We decided to eat in "the Tavern." Our server made us feel anything but welcomed. Sullen, unsmiling....just going through the motions. We ordered a bottle of wine and the "Crabioli" appetizer. Now, when I order a bottle of wine in an establishment of... More

Ate at the tavern, it was terrible. Service was good. Mgmt was either inexperienced or just don't really care. Menu is inaccurate, and completely misleading. Was here a few years back for a private party brunch and it was fantastic, in the dining room. Went back for dinner at tavern, and was completely disappointed. Beautiful historic place, but needs to... More

Nice bar, very decent food, good service, and a fun cozy winter hang. Not my pick for the summer months, dark, woody and heavy. Hit Aquq Grill for summer fun n drink< better use of your money and summer time fun days!

We were invited to this place by other family members...beautiful place...we had reservations and were seated immediately in the large room in the back with a glass ceiling and side walls looking into a small garden with a waterfall in the back...rolls were served along with our drinks while we waited for our meal to be cooked...the rolls were out... We've been to the Daniel Webster Inn three times for lunch now. Once we ate in the tavern and that was very quaint and cozy at the bar--a place you could spend all day really. This time we ate (for the second time) in the dining room at lunch. Each time it seems the customers are primarily locals, a good... More
