Visitors walking thru town always stop here for a delicious sandwich - it is located right in the middle of town and is worth a stop.
We were walking through town on a beautiful day and didn't want to spend a long time having lunch in an indoor restaurant (Daniel Webster Inn, for example). Delicious sandwich, nice atmosphere, a little pricey, but worth it. The employees are very helpful. Lovely patio outside and nice tables inside.

We stopped here on the off chance and bought food to take away and wow it was amazing. The staff were knowledgeable about everything they had and we are making the trip back there tomorrow just to have lunch in. it's like one of the West Kensington Deli's in London apart from being a far more beautiful setting. Well done... More
The variety that the Brown Jug offers is incredible, and this store offers high-end, great quality items that are hard to find in regular or specialty stores. Go in for a sandwich (all freshly prepared that day, and very eclectic) and an iced coffee, sit outside in the sweetly enclosed garden patio out back and enjoy.
This is a lovely little store with many wonderful food items including specialty pastas, salts, crackers, cheese, delicious sandwiches. They have a connecting wine store with some great selections. You can always find something to take as a hostess gift.
