Good food and good service

Had a very good meal here . Had been eating fish since arriving on the Cape so despite a fishy starter the main of steak was a very good choice . An excellent idea was to serve ' mini' desserts . Just enough to let you sample them and enjoy without being too full . More restuarants should... read more

We are visiting from New York for our anniversary and chose this place based on the reviews. The waitress was friendly and the view of the garden is beautiful. The food was so-so. For the price I expected fresh fish but it tasted frozen. The lobster pot pie was sour and the lobster was over cooked. My husband had the... More

I recently enjoyed a lovely lunch buffet at the Daniel Webster Inn in Sandwich, MA. The visit was part of a day long outing to Cape Cod with a group of about 30. Lunch was served in a private dining room with servers tending the buffet and additional servers for the nicely decorated tables. All staff were polite, courteous and... More

As first-time visitors, we found several things to like about the Dan'l Webster Inn Restaurant. The restaurant occupies several rooms, and we were seated in the Music Room, which was quiet with a comfortable ambiance. For our entrees, we both selected the Lobster Crusted Cod and both adjudged it excellent. There is a very extensive wine list, ranging from very... More

We ate in the Tavern and the restaurant. Had the same waitress and she was very sweet. Food was very good, had the onion soup and the pot pie, very good!

Whenever we go to the Cape, we stop in Sandwich and have lunch at the Daniel Webster Inn. We also like to meet our Cape friends there at Christmastime. When guests come to visit us from out of state, we love to drive them to the historic Daniel Webster Inn for a good meal. A few weeks ago we stopped... More

Ate here for Mothers Days Brunch. Was very reasonable but not much selection at all. No Eggs Benedict, any seafood items or a carving station. You couldn't serve yourself and the eggs had no flavor. Is a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Cute gift shop though.

Dear Ksullivan4011 ~ Thank you for choosing us on Mother's Day. It seems there was some confusion; we offer a breakfast buffet in the morning on Mother's Day in place of the regular a'la carte breakfast menu. It appears you were expecting our Sunday Brunch Buffet that does offer Eggs Benedict, seafood items, a carving station, etc. - that was... More

Had a meal in the main restaurant which took an age to come to table felt the meal was not worth the money paid. Waitress not really interested in our table. Two starters came out and had to ask for the soup so we could all eat at the same time. Then we had to tell her she had not... More

This was our first time dining at the Dan'l Webster Inn. We chose this to host a weekend engagement luncheon. We had a private room (for a fee), which was excellent for our party of 12. We always go to the Daniel Webster when we are in the area. We usually spend a night or two during dark winter days when we need a lift and the Webster always lifts us from the doldrums.
