I had to take a different route home recently and came across this nice surprise in the town of Sandwich. A very homey and friendly market jam packed with goodies to take home, from groceries to beer and wine, to hot deli food, ice cream, baked goods, etc. I decided to buy some meat while there as they claim to... We Just picked up two of their "Chairman" sandwiches for lunch. Unbelievable. They say they're made on a Braided Roll (from Boston's North End), but the roll is more like a loaf of bread! Each sandwich contained a layer (about 1 inch) of smoked turkey, several delicious pieces of smoked bacon, avacado, Swiss cheese lettuce, tomatos and mayo. Without any... More

We are here year round, and this place is very good, and service is outstanding. Fresh everything, and worth your stopping in!

As an insider I'll say you will find much variety, big sandwiches, alots of fresh made foods to take home and heat. Prices are somewhat higher than chains like S&S Deli but with the service you get it is well worth the few extra bucks. The owners have passion and work everyhour the store is open which is good and... More

I bypassed the Dunkin Donuts next door in a failed attempt to 'buy local' with my morning coffee-and-muffin. The store looked like a charming little store. First up, it has a sign that says 'cash for sales under $10.' Not especially for a ritualistic quick morning coffee-and-muffin stop (especially when you can just DRIVE THROUGH next door). The coffee prices... More

This is a cute, local market with fresh produce (reasonable prices) as well as usual pantry items (higher prices) including essential Asian cooking products. The food bar has a variety of cooked food, mostly pasta and soups, but also bakery items that seemed a bit overpriced. I opted for pasta which tasted great, but had been sitting out a while,... More

The food is very fresh and tasty. Although a bit pricey, their pot pies are out of this world! The produce is also very fresh with a nice selection of basic foods.

Lamberts is a wonderful Market. I love to by fresh fruits and veggies there, rather than a chain grocery store. You always know that it will be fresh. The workers are great, and friendly. Their deli is great, you can always get large sandwiches, and they are always baking fresh foods. They also sell wine, which is nice because you... More
