Surprising Find Off of 6A

We were on our way back from the Cape and were looking for a restaurant that wouldn't take us too far off course. Looked on Tripadvisor and found Tomatoes. We had a delicious "Chopped Salad", which wasn't really chopped, but had great dressing and was more than large enough to share. My husband had... read more

Been going here for many Years they changed the chef a few years ago. But they have returned to a very good restaurant. Large menu good wine selection. Can be a little noise when packed. Nice dining as well as family affairs.

2 years later, we returned to Tomatoes. I reduce my rating from "Very Good" to "Average". The food was good/average, considering the price. One main issue was the portions. This is one of those places that's decided to over-compensate with very large portions. It's too much! Not that we would have had room for dessert, but, the dessert selection was... More

My daughters and husband brought me to Tomatoes on Saturday evening to celebrate my much dreaded 60th birthday. We have eaten at Tomatoes in the past though not recently so we expected something good. My meal which I usually order was good. Everyone else had problems. My husband's dinner was tough; one daughter's dinner lacked taste. Given the prices (comparible... More

This small Italian Restaurant is hidden in a small outdoor mall and can easily be overlooked. Locate the Sandwich Cinemas and you will find a treasure there. Friday and Sat. evenings after 8 are nights of entertainment. The small bar is intimate and ample. The food is outrageous. I had the Pork Osso Bucco which was flavorful, tender, huge and... More

We went to Tomatoes on a Friday night with 2 other couples. We had reservations and were seated without any wait. The menu is extensive and a little overwhelming. We started with appetizers, drinks and salads. Our appetizer was the sausage and polenta and was excellent. We tasted the other apps and they were also very good. I got the... More

Food was awesome! Atmosphere was great! We split a salad and a pizza. The price was right and the staff was very friendly. We will go back for sure.

I love this place! The Italian food is delicious , but has many other dishes to choose from? Their portions are quite large. My husband and I often order an appetizer and salad and we are good to go. Good wine list and specials daily. The service is good too. Good idea to make a reservation. In te off season... More

Went here for dinner with my wife and brother. We were seated immediately and the place was nearly full. Always a good sign. The service was prompt and professional. The decor and overall atmosphere was terrific. We ordered dinner and it was served piping hot in about 20 minutes. All three pasta dishes were huge and delicious. No room for... More

A "local' took me here and I found it a 'find'. Comfortable atmosphere. Good food. Moderately priced. Went on a Thursday nite and they had entertainment after dinner, in the bar area. The dishes are large, so if not a big eater, you may want to split, especially if you enjoy an appetizer beforehand!
