While quite a distance from our home we try to stop here once or twice a year. Don't let the less than impressive storefront appearance scare you away. The food is always consistently good and reasonably priced. In the past the bread basket contained both garlic bread and olive bread. This visit it contained only garlic bread and plain white... Limited menu but the food is authentic and excellent! The waitstaff will do their best to make sure you have perfect dining experience. The olive bread and dipping oil is outstanding!

Consistently great italian food! Large varied menu. Get seated right away with a reservation even on a busy Sat. night. Very pleasant to sit outside during warm months. Waitstaff attentive and courteous. large dining room can get pretty noisy. Would be nice to have a few booths against the wall.

Tomatoes is located in a strip mall adjacent to the local movie Cineplex. It is quite popular with the locals as the food is good and portions are large. Every time we have been there it seems there is a long delay (20 minutes) in the time drinks are delivered when ordered after being seated. After that the service is... More

Awesome food, great service, reasonable prices. Great martinis. The setting is nice - about the best you can get in a strip mall.

There aren't too many good restaurants within five minutes of tomatoes which is probably why I always end up going back. The food is good but nothing soectacular. The atmosphere is nice. Bread and dipping sauce is great! Wine prices are fair. The waitress we had was nothing special. She did not seem interested. I do not think she enjoys... More

We stopped in on a Saturday evening at dinnertime. The restaurant was not unusually busy or full, but while the atmosphere itself was pleasant, the service was rather lackluster and slow. Our drinks and a tasty warm bread with a nice dipping oil were brought quickly, but then the waitress disappeared for quite some time before finally coming back for... More

Despite my previous experience here with actual rotten food (was served weeks old Ravioli, tasted like bleach), I decided to try it again because we had a 2 for 1 coupon in a local Dining for 2 book we bought. We called and made a reservation, we arrived and despite calling ahead and explaining we needed a high chair, we... More

We are locals and Chefs (CIA grads) and we used to love going to Tomatoes. Last 2 visits were overwhelmingly disappointing. The food has declined severely over the last few years. We had a "roasted red and yellow beet salad" that contained no roasted beets at all. They tasted like canned red beets, there were no yellow beets to be... More
