Very Good, but not great

Good food at very good prices. The kind of place the locals don't want you to know about. Excellent Veal Saltimboca and Pork Scaloppine Sinatra. Red sauce is an acquired taste. Service is good and friendly . Large menu to choose from. Always has specials not listed on menu. Tuesday it is dinner... read more

I went to Tomatoes with my husband yesterday afternoon. My husband knew Chef Mark and introduced us. Chef Mark gave us Italian food like no other Italian restaurant on the Cape, or anywhere for that matter. The calamari was tender, sweet and had a backbite of heat from the peppers. The lemoncello shrimp and pasta were an experience. The colossal... More

They offer a lot of dinner choices with different types of sauces. I had the lasagna with bolognese sauce with slices of sausage in it. My sister had shells and a meatball with pomodoro. The other meal was veal Parmesan. All were delicious and very large portions. The service was good as was the atmosphere.

This place was phenomenal. This is definitely my Sandwich favorite. It's a quaint little restaurant at the back of a plaza. The jazz music and candles gave it a romantic vibe but it's great for all occasions. I would not walk in wearing sweatpants or a bathing suit. I'd say casual yet put together. The chicken parmigiano was to die... More

Enjoyable dinner after the movies. Three out of four meals were very good. Pasta, Steak, and Veal Parm all very good. Skip the sliders. All portions very large. Big enough to split.

Delicious Authentic Italian Restaurant. Be prepared to wait if you didn't make reservations as Tomatoes is always busy.

Stopped here to eat "non seafood" and glad we did! We started with the spinach and artichoke dip that was served with fried wontons. The had the chicken scampi and my friend had the carbonara. The portions were huge but the food was delicious! Glad we stopped!

This spot is located in a strip mall and not a tourist destination. Food is prepared very well, servings plentiful, and good service make for an all around solid value. Today this is hard to find. The menus is very complete, from steaks, to seafood, to Italian, and pizzas. Their meals are consistently good which provides for a busy environment... More

We were on our way back from the Cape and were looking for a restaurant that wouldn't take us too far off course. Looked on Tripadvisor and found Tomatoes. We had a delicious "Chopped Salad", which wasn't really chopped, but had great dressing and was more than large enough to share. My husband had Ravioli with Arrabiato sauce. That sauce... More
