Every time we visit Hampton, NH we make the short trip to the Hungry Traveler for dinner. Sophia was our waitress and she was just amazing. You could tell she truly cared about her customers carefully checking on everyone! We never had to wait for anything, the food and the salad bar was amazing, the drinks are also fantastic. Once... Watch for large parties. Took us over 2 hours to get our food. The fried oyster appetizer easy excellent when it finally came some 45 minutes after we sat down. The main meal was disappointing. Tips were overdone and lobster roll was skimpy. The manager offered the excuse that there was a large party that slowed things down. Seems lo... More

I've been coming to this restaurant since 1989 and I have never had a bad meal or experience here. I always get seafood and have had a variety over the years here. It is always fresh and delicious. It's not fine dining and it's not trying to be. It's a casual atmosphere and the decor hasn't changed much over the... More

It has been quite a few years since I've been to this restaurant. I had positive memories of great food and service. It's nice to see some things don't change. For the past few weeks we have been craving baked haddock. We finally scratched the itch and we are glad we went here. My wife got a large filet of... More

This is a great casual restaurant located near Salisbury Beach. The atmosphere is nothing special, but, the food is very good. Prices are reasonable..... $18.99 for Greek stuffed haddock and shrimp casserole and $15.99 for chicken parmesan. Both portion were very generous and provided a second meal at lunch the next day. The food is prepared individually to ensure freshness.... More

While driving the Maine coast we stopped here for a late lunch. This place reminded me of many of the family roadhouse restaurants I ate at as a kid in the 60's. Lots of booths, lots of blue haired patrons, tired salad bar, etc. Most patrons were finishing their lunches and leaving as we arrived. The servers were ready for... More

We stopped in for lunch last week. We had not been there for a while. The food was so/so. the salad bar at $4.00 is a total rip off. There was hardly anything on it. I hadthe meatloaf it was ok but nothing to write home about.
