The food tasted ok . Very expensive for a little amount of food you receive . I ordered a baked haddock with shrimp and I received my dish what a joke it look like it belong in a children order that small all that for $ 23.00 . Will never go there again .

My husband and I go out to eat often, and though we live not too far from this restaurant, had never been. It was recommended by an acquaintance, and the reviews I read of it were mostly good. The salad bar in particular was what most people raved about. It started well, on a Saturday night we only had to... More

We were looking for a late meal and were directed to this restaurant by the owner of the hotel we were staying at. First impression - there were a good number of locals eating there, always a good sign. We were quickly seated and cheerfully greeted with warm rolls by a very good waitperson. My son ordered the calamari appetizer... More

I've been going here since I was a kid. Always the same good food & service. Nice salad bar. I like their lunch sized fishermen's platter (which is enough for 2 1/2 meals). The rest of my family swears by the prime rib.

We wanted a nice not too expensive dinner. I was in the mood for a lobster pie, it was excellent and very good value. My daughter had cajun swordfish and loved it. Fast, friendly service.

Every time we visit Hampton, NH we make the short trip to the Hungry Traveler for dinner. Sophia was our waitress and she was just amazing. You could tell she truly cared about her customers carefully checking on everyone! We never had to wait for anything, the food and the salad bar was amazing, the drinks are also fantastic. Once... Watch for large parties. Took us over 2 hours to get our food. The fried oyster appetizer easy excellent when it finally came some 45 minutes after we sat down. The main meal was disappointing. Tips were overdone and lobster roll was skimpy. The manager offered the excuse that there was a large party that slowed things down. Seems lo... More

I've been coming to this restaurant since 1989 and I have never had a bad meal or experience here. I always get seafood and have had a variety over the years here. It is always fresh and delicious. It's not fine dining and it's not trying to be. It's a casual atmosphere and the decor hasn't changed much over the... More
