This place is a diner- you get diner food. We stopped for breakfast. I had Ray's hash. It was great- not the canned stuff you get in so many places. My husband had pancakes and ham with real maple syrup-again not the fake stuff. The service was great- fast and friendly, our waitress checked on us several times, asked where... More

Our family loves stopping at diners on car trips. We went out of our way to go to the Agawam Diner because, in the AAA Tourbook, it sounded like the perfect place for us. The write-up praised the meatloaf. Well, what's a diner without meatloaf?! Sadly, we found out. The diner looked fine from the outside and, although small on... More

If your looking for a quick in and out with good, basic food, this should satisfy you ( unless there's a line out the door). The tables do turn over very quickly. Plain, basic food with a nice cup of coffee is what you get here. I have been told their pies are pretty special and some people go there... More

Authentic Airstream-type old-fashioned Diner with all the trimmings! Spenser picked a good one here! The "greeter" at the door is a real fixture! The food is great! Best Chicken Pot Pie I've ever had anywhere! You almost expect a guy in a fedora to come in for lunch. Next time I'm close, I'll be there!

This diner has been here for along time. We ate here often when we lived nearby 20 years ago. Returning to the area we found it did not disappoint. The seafood was still delicious, cole slaw not over mayonnaised and the pies fantastic. Waitresses were very friendly. We were there between lunch and diner so it was not overcrowded.

This is a fun historic diner. Food is good greasy spoon cooking. Been there multiple times an never had a bad meal. Only drawback is cash only.

Look, it's a diner and it's cash only, so it has to be good, right? It is. But I don't care if you eat French toast at 8 p.m. or just ate your way through the fried chicken plate or a side of Ipswich clams, it would be a SIN if you don't have a slice of heaven, alias Agawam... More

Our lunch had mixed results. This diner has been in operation since the 1940's and I don't think that anything has changed. The food was ok. They do have a large menu of comfort food but in our lunch nothing could rise the bad above just ok.

We love breakfast, but unfortunately we won't be going back to the Agawam Diner. The pancakes tasted like the batter came from a bottle, the hash was made from hamburger, and the home fries had zero flavor. On the positive side the atmosphere was fun and it had a traditional New England feel to it.
