A MUST GO TO

Went on a weekday so it was not crowded and got seated right away. Had delicious short stack of blueberry pancakes and sausage. Reasonable prices and good food. A MUST GO TO when visiting the Rowley/Ipswich MA area!

We were so lucky to come across this little gem when staying down the road in Ipswich. The outside is so inviting. As soon as you pull up, you know that this is something special. And the interior is very much the same - quaint and comfortable. The menu is exactly what you would want for breakfast. It offers a... More

My wife and I, plus my niece and nephew, dined at the Village Pancake House on Sunday, July 5. We had two omelettes, two orders of pancakes, and one chocolate milk. The total was $38 (not including the tip). The omelettes were enormous (two adults could split one) and come with roasted potatoes and toast or an english muffin. Orders... More

A pleasant breakfast spot, famous for its pancakes but offering a full menu with the usual breakfast options (egg, omelets, Canadian bacon, etc.) and, more unusually, allowing for half-portions of things like waffles. They very kindly seated our large group (about 16 or 18 people) at two long tables in a private back room. We phoned ahead, but still had... More

I used to come here every few months. Hadn't been in about 10 years. Was sooo looking forward to those great potato pancakes. Oh, so gross! They were basically plain pancakes with shreds of potato mixed in! Who does that??? I actually had to add syrup. Just awful. I told the waitress who said they were the same as before.... More

A wonderful place to meet for breakfast. A "farm house feel" with a couple of dining areas to choose. Great pancakes but I love the eggs benedict.

We have gone to the Village Pancake House numerous times over the past 30-40 years and always left well fed. It is a 2 hour drive from our house, but each time it has been worth the trip. This time I had the pecan pancakes - filled with whole pecans and dusted with cinnamon - absolutely delicious. The servings are... More

omelets are good and tasty. coffee is fresh. pancakes are quite good with the exception of the potato pancakes which i would definitely not recommend. weekends it is very crowded but weekdays it is a good place for breakfast.

This is one of our favorite locations for breakfast. You won't be disappointed. Cash only, but they have an atm inside.

There is nothing that parallels the scrumptious food at Stephanie's Village Pancake House, except maybe the warm welcome you will receive from Stephanie. And her parents, Ed and Kathy, who work the front desk and serve tables. And her Uncle, Ken, who cooks in the kitchen. This spot is very special - it is situated in pretty Rowley, within a... More
