What a great restaurant! It's actually in an old house, so "Pancake House" isn't just a name. The atmosphere is really charming, and the staff is very friendly and on top of things. The pecan pancakes are just delicious (I tried a bite of my boyfriend's breakfast), but when I saw lobster benedict on the menu, I couldn't pass it... More

Reeeeallly good pancakes and amazing omlettes. Homemade biscuits. The servers are quick and friendly. Overall this place is really well run and I would definitely go back.

These are easily the best pancakes on the North Shore. The pumpkin ones are to die. They top them with cinnamon sugar. And they always have real maple syrup. Delicious.

We had a lovely breakfast there, though we had to change our choices at the last minute when we realised that it was Good Friday and a meatless day for us. The selection was more than adequate to cater for our varied needs. An indication of pancake size would have helped, as the stack pancakes we had were much bigger... More

I loved my eggs benedict and my husband was pleased with his eggs/bacon/toast but our home fries were just blah. They're bascially quartered potatoes tossed in butter and that's it. No flavor, no spices, nothing. I was surprised that they were so plain. Like I said in the title, it would have been "good" instead of average if the home... More

Went for breakfast. Have been many times. Last time I went had an omlette special. I was so good. Had a bit of a wait but had coffee on the porch. Worth it. Would recommend

One of the best parts about the small towns along the North Shore of Massachusetts is the many independent family-owned restaurants. The Village Pancake House is in a converted old New England home so we always enjoy the ambiance. The staff is very friendly and prompt. While I've tried many items on their lunch menu I enjoy the breakfast items... More
