Great food and service! We recently ate at the Mexican restaurant in Ipswich, which was not very good. What a pleasant surprise to try this place in nearby Rowley. In all honesty I have to say the drinks were better, the food was better and the service was much better! If it's Mexican you desire go directly to El Tapatio... More

If you like Americanized Mexican food, you will be ok with this restaurant. It is very loud inside - and not from music - it was just very noisy though only half full. The portions were very large and the food was fine for the price point. But if you are looking for high end ingredients or authentic (real) Mexican,... More

We love this spot, we go about 5 times a year it is consistently good. The salsa is fresh so it is a bit runny but the flavor is fantastic. The staff is nice, most are native Spanish speakers so they can be shy, but if you get the owners(husband and wife) they will go out of their way and... More

We absolutely love eating here... the food is excellent, the service is terrific, the prices are good. Our only complaint is that the made-on-premises tortilla chips and made-on-premises salsa are SO good that we always eat too much, and have to take the rest of our dinner home. We actually took a chance and took my Texas brother in law... More

After a hard morning of cleaning the cellar we decided to try this restaurant for lunch. Most of the reviews sounded positive? but a few go right along with what we thought. We sat down and the waiter appeared....very rudely asked if we knew what we wanted? Asked if we could look at the menu first he huffed and went... More

We visited a little after noon for lunch. There were only a couple people at bar and no one in the restaurant area. We ordered one of the salad specials and enjoyed the chips and salsa while we waited. It was average tasting but the portion was big enough for two meals so the price was spot on. When we... More

Exceptional from start to finish! Wait staff enthusiastic and attentive. Never seen 25 different selections of tequila! They are passionate about their food and drink! Best Mexican food I've had East of Texas. Best beans ever and the mole sauce really good. Was totally full by end of dinner but as it was so exceptional I had to try a... More

We went here after the Marini Farm corn maze. Portions were huge and the food tasted authentic. The servers were very nice and attentive. Facility seemed clean and well taken care of. I would go back if I am in the area again.
