After a hard morning of cleaning the cellar we decided to try this restaurant for lunch. Most of the reviews sounded positive? but a few go right along with what we thought. We sat down and the waiter appeared....very rudely asked if we knew what we wanted? Asked if we could look at the menu first he huffed and went... More

We visited a little after noon for lunch. There were only a couple people at bar and no one in the restaurant area. We ordered one of the salad specials and enjoyed the chips and salsa while we waited. It was average tasting but the portion was big enough for two meals so the price was spot on. When we... More

Exceptional from start to finish! Wait staff enthusiastic and attentive. Never seen 25 different selections of tequila! They are passionate about their food and drink! Best Mexican food I've had East of Texas. Best beans ever and the mole sauce really good. Was totally full by end of dinner but as it was so exceptional I had to try a... More

We went here after the Marini Farm corn maze. Portions were huge and the food tasted authentic. The servers were very nice and attentive. Facility seemed clean and well taken care of. I would go back if I am in the area again.

A very busy place on a Saturday night. We had 7 folks in our party and were seated in about 5 minutes. Wait staff was cheerful and courteous. Service was slow. Took us 2 hours. Food was good.

Great food! Great service, not just your waiter but all the waiters help out others! Nice Teamwork. Atmosphere is wonderful. Very clean. Resonable prices. It was our first time going here, there are no good mexican restaurants near Newburyport area that are good. But, this will be our new spot!!

Monday, July 21, 2014, myself and 2 friends went to El Tapatio restaurant in Rowley for lunch. One of us got cheese enchilada, another of us got chicken fajita and I ordered beef fajita. Well to our great surprise my friends chicken fajita was made with chicken roll, not even fresh chicken and my beef, which the waiter called steak... More

The food at El Tapatio is not bad. It's one of the only nearby Mexican eateries, but there isn't anything special about the food or atmosphere. It pains me to say it, but I'd rather drive 30 minutes to Chipolte. Perhaps I just don't have a strong appreciation of authentic Mexican cuisine? I do have to say pricing is good... More

I had been craving mexican food all week so decided to try El Tapatio. I was disappointed as soon as I sat down and they brought the chips and salsa to us. The chips were very thick and the salsa did not have much flavor. I only ate two or three chips they were so bad. Then the meal came... More

Went on a snowy Wednesday night. Not crowded at all, yet in the hour we were there, saw a constant turn over. The Cadillac Margarita was a great value at $9.00 and it knocked me on my behind! Usually margaritas at restaurants taste watered down, definitely not this place. ordered the shredded beef chimichanga. It was alright. The rice and... More
