Arrived in the midst of ferocious T storms; luckily though the lights flickered the cook persisted. The results were great brisket, pulled pork, and jerk chicken. Nice surroundings and friendly service.

I was pleasantly surprised with how fantastic the food was. The meat falls of the one of the ribs. The corn bread is a large fresh moist portion of goodness. I highly recommend going here.

Our family love American BBQ and are frequent visitors there. My husband and I go to Austin Texas often and are spoiled by the BBQ down there (Oh how I love that Franklin BBQ) but the best we've had in New England is definitely American BBQ. We have used them to cater numerous times and each time is better and... More

I've been here several times and have ordered a variety of the dishes offered. I especially like the ribs, pulled port and brisket. The side dishes are fresh and well-prepared too. It's an unexpected surprise here on the North Shore.

I stopped in here recently for take out while in Rowley. I ordered the three-meat plate to share with some friends, which was more than enough food for all of us). Ribs and brisket were great. I wasn't that excited about the sausages for they were very salty. They have a GF menu, which was great for me. It seems... More

I'm from North Carolina and I love my "Q". I was overjoyed when my family brought us here for some good old fashioned BBQ. The food was great, the sides were plenty and the atmosphere was wonderful. The only problem was that I didn't have enough room left to try one of their delicious looking deserts. Oh well I'm sure... More

We had the pleasure of eating at this establishment when we were on our way to Byfield. We are from Kentucky and appreciate good BBQ. This is no exception. We were promptly waited on and served the most delicious ribs. The service was limited but the generous portions more than made up for it. The cornbread was exceptional. You must... More

I am sorry that a previous reviewer had such a bad experience......so unlike all the times I've come here. Almost makes me wonder off the manager was on vacation that week. A no frills place for sure; but comfortable and entertaining. There are sometimes peanut shells/dust from the free peanuts, but I have never experienced this place as 'dirty'. The... More

This is a fun place when you've had your fill of fried seafood. It felt like we were time-warped to BBQ land instead of the Massachusetts seacoast. You order at the counter, get a table - inside or out - and wait for your order. We both had the six ribs plate with two sides and a big hunk of... More
