This place is an all time top hole-in-the-wall. We've been multiple times and are consistently shocked at how authentic and delicious their southern barbecue menu is. We've never had a bad meal, the price is right, and little spoken fact about this place: Their French fries are the best in New England. Go. Just go.

From the extensive menu, I picked two meats with two sides. The sausages were tender and juicy as were the ribs. My sides of home made potato chips and mac n cheese were just the right compliment to the meal. Add a cold beer and you have a great meal. Place is very clean. I love the fact that a... More

I write from the perspective of a former huge fan and regular customer of the restaurant. I got take out food on a Friday night at least once a month years ago before friends in Rowley moved away. I also have introduced at least 20 people to this restaurant over the years. I went for the first time in several... More

Arrived in the midst of ferocious T storms; luckily though the lights flickered the cook persisted. The results were great brisket, pulled pork, and jerk chicken. Nice surroundings and friendly service.

I was pleasantly surprised with how fantastic the food was. The meat falls of the one of the ribs. The corn bread is a large fresh moist portion of goodness. I highly recommend going here.

Our family love American BBQ and are frequent visitors there. My husband and I go to Austin Texas often and are spoiled by the BBQ down there (Oh how I love that Franklin BBQ) but the best we've had in New England is definitely American BBQ. We have used them to cater numerous times and each time is better and... More

I've been here several times and have ordered a variety of the dishes offered. I especially like the ribs, pulled port and brisket. The side dishes are fresh and well-prepared too. It's an unexpected surprise here on the North Shore.

I stopped in here recently for take out while in Rowley. I ordered the three-meat plate to share with some friends, which was more than enough food for all of us). Ribs and brisket were great. I wasn't that excited about the sausages for they were very salty. They have a GF menu, which was great for me. It seems... More

I'm from North Carolina and I love my "Q". I was overjoyed when my family brought us here for some good old fashioned BBQ. The food was great, the sides were plenty and the atmosphere was wonderful. The only problem was that I didn't have enough room left to try one of their delicious looking deserts. Oh well I'm sure... More
