Given the other choices in Rockport, this is probably the best place to have dinner. It's cute, has good atmosphere, and the food is fine, in the sense of okay. Nothing spectacular, but better than other choices there. I would recommend it and would go back.

My favorite place to go for Italian food. The fried calamari pepperchini is great. I always order the Scallops Puttanesca, although the chicken or veal marsala is also a favorite of mine. I have been to other italian eateries and the Marsala dish from LoGrasso's is the best! I enjoy the BYOB because I am able to bring my own... More

While in Rockport on a pleasure trip, someone recommended this restaurant. When I walked in I was asked if we had reservations which I did not. Although indicating they were full, they found a table for my wife and I. In looking over the menu, it seemed a bit pricey. I was also surprised to see that they did not... More

We were attending a concert at Shalin Liu last evening, and hoped for a nice dinner beforehand. Gloucester has a number of good restaurants, but because the theatre is in Rockport, we thought something close by would assure getting there on time. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Lo Grasso's Café Bistro is small and quaint. There were so... More

When people ask me "Where should I eat in Rockport" this is where I send them- Good, straightforward, Italian comfort food- seafood casseroles, North End pork chops, calamari- all great. Plentiful portions and warm, friendly service- You feel like you're in Sal's home- I love this place- Prices are reasonable and they are still BYOB with a very nominal corkage... More

I had Alaskan pesto salmon, my friend had chicken cacciatore, both excellent. Hard to resist eating all bread: so good. 0wner Donna served us, very friendly, caring. I had not eaten here for a while ( too long) but I will return soon.

A great find in Rockport! Cozy, warm, and delicious! We had the veal marsala, and veal parmesan and they were both fabulous. It is a slow-paced restaurant where you can enjoy and savor your meal and your company, so be sure to make reservations early enough if you have someplace else to be. Loved the BYOB, saved some money and... More

My husband and I tried to dine here a year ago, but without reservations, there was no way....I called a month ahead of our trip to Rockport this year and was all set with my reservation, until we arrived and were told there was no reservation in our name....since Lo Grasso's does not book through Open Table, I had no... A little gem of a restaurant like I would expect in Italy. Husband is the chef, Donna is the main waitress...only one during the week. Excellent service, one of the best meals we have had anywhere, at a very reasonable price. Only drawback is hard to find...small sign, but wow would I go back there again.

We lived on Cape Ann for many years, and became devotees of LoGrasso's after our first visit way back. I had often commented that it was the equal or better of anything Boston's North End offered. We returned to Cape Ann and the Boston area this past fall after a 4-year absence, and visitng LoGrasso's was just like going...well, home.... More
