The elegant dining room and well prepared food provide a lovely experience for couples and groups. We enjoyed meeting visitors from other countries there.

Despite being nearly neighbors of this establishment, we had not dined here before. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the swordfish with the mango relish atop of a pretty good risotto. The swordfish was perfectly cooked, and I was given a good portion. WE had some salads which were very good- a Caeser and a garden. Other members of the... More

With a group of four for dinner, we each had a wonderful dining experience. The new chef had a great menu for us. We highly recommend this! Plus, the staff was attentive and engaging. Don't worry, if you want to be left alone they seemed capable of that as well, with others. It was just a night where the interaction... More

My family and I went here for dinner for a Birthday celebration. My sister and I wanted to order from a kid's menu, but we were told they don't have the usual kid's menu now. There were only two things they could make - Gnocchi (for kids?) and Grilled Cheese. We ordered grilled cheese, which came with the cheese totally... More

Had their special dinner package . Started with the cesar salad which was good followed by the pork tenderloin which was excellent. The dessert was suppose to be apple crisp but they ran out of ice cream. What they brought out was half baked apple slices with oats sprinkled on top. It was not very good. They did let me... More

We were looking for a better-than-average meal and we definitely found it at the Grand Cafe. Old world style, excellent meal. I had halibut perfectly prepared my husband has lobster. Very good risotto was served with each, As an added bonus there was a very good band playing in the bar. Dinner was pricey, but well worth it.

We loved the ambiance at the Emerson Inn in the small New England village of Rockport, MA. The food was delicious and the service very good. A little pricey but not for what we ordered. Not a family restaurant but nice for a couple's night out.

Was here with family and my Aunt &Uncle from London were staying at the Inn. Lovely view looking out from the front porch where we had cocktails prior to dinner....the only way you can have alchohol in Rockport (though close to entering the 21st century) does not allow alcohol unless served with food...huh?!?! Considering that when I grew up on... More
