During our afternoon visit to beautiful Rockport MA, we ate "where the locals eat". Wow. The view is breathtaking... sit near the window! The white sangria was tasty. I ordered "Lazy Shrimp" which was a casserole of shrimp in a butter sauce.. delish! My sister-in-law loved the "Lazy Lobster". I also recommend the New England Clam Chowder.

We ate at Ellen's and got close to the window so we got a little water view, Staff was very friendly and accessible. Wait time for food wasn't bad at all either. Food came and waitress was very attentive that we had all we needed. The food was very good it was good amount and flavorful. The owner also made... More

We ate there on two consecutive days while staying in Rockport. Not the fanciest, but has a nice harbor view. Food was good and reasonably priced. Did have good Clam Chowder. Serve Kraft mac and cheese in a cute little container that my four year old daughter liked.

Decent cup of chowder and fried clams. Nothing to write home about and the prices are decent. Guessing there are some better choices in the area. Service is friendly and decent harbor views. Half order of the fried clams was more than sufficient .

We really enjoyed their ribs and salad. Good service. Tasty food. Other dishes served are seafood variety's but they have the best ribs on Rockport.

I love to have lunch here when I visit my Mom. I love the atmosphere and the food. And the warmth of greeting and how they treat my 87 year old Mama is heartwarming. It's not the place for high maintenance folks but if you like down to earth, that's been around for years this is the place.

The chowder was very good and so was the lobster bisque. We just wanted a little something for lunch so stopped in and it is a cute place. Love the decor and you can see out to one of the harbors. They have a special where you can get a cup of soup and 1/2 sandwich which was just the... More

Clam chowder was a tasty starter. The half portions of broiled haddock and broiled scallops were adequate to leave enough room to share a dessert. The sides, jacket potatoes, zucchini and tomatoes and especially the pickled beets were excellent. The cranberry and rhubarb dessert was homemade and delicious. The only minor criticism was the friendly waitress seemed too busy and... More

We frequent this seasonal restaurant regularly every year. Excellent quality of food. Fresh fish, burgers, award winning corn and clam chowder. This is where the locals go. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. Try the desserts!!!
