We had breakfast here here more than once during a recent stay in Rockport. The place is small and totally cozy (be advised--no restrooms) and our meals were excellent. Try the Anadama bread with your perfectly cooked omelet---it's a local favorite. The wait staff is friendly and efficient and the coffee is great. The chocolate chip pancakes are perfect, too!... What a great little spot. As we were leaving Bearskin Neck, friends of our's suggested we stop in for lunch. What a treat! My husband and I had the scrumptious fried clams...so tender and a cup of chowder. Our friends were equally pleased with their fried seafood platter. I will definitely be back next time we are in Rockport!!!

Husband and I spent two weeks in Rockport and found this restaurant to be the best!! The food for both lunch and dinner was excellent - hot, tasty. Dined here several times over two week period. Service and wait staff couldn't have been better. It is too bad they are not open for dinner. The other restaurants in this town... More

OK saw the lines and decided to wait. NO AC. It was a little uncomfortable for a cool day outside. If it was a hot day who knows. Food was tasty like in most breakfast joints. Some unusual specials. I might go back for a lunch try. (But my wife says I'm going alone)

Good chowder, fish and chips. Fast, friendly service. Would come again. Metered parking on road right in front.

There is limited seating here but it's worth the wait. If you don't mind being seated at the counter, you'll find you can get in quicker if you're a party of two and enjoy conversations with the wait staff and locals who frequent the place. Be sure to check out the specials on the small chalkboard by the door. We... More

This is a tiny place, and they are only open for breakfast and lunch. I had an outstanding breakfast. This is where the locals eat.

But get there early (before 8:00 a.m.) or you may have to wait for one of the few tables. There are benches outside for waiting. Delicious food and reasonable for Cape Ann. Three blueberry pancakes means three large pancakes LOADED with blueberries. Good sausage. Huge three egg omelet. Ate breakfast here two days running and we were met with friendly... More

When my wife, sister and niece strolled around Bearskin Neck in Rockport, Massachusetts, in addition to tourist shopping, we were also looking for a place to eat with nice atmosphere and ambiance. On the way back to the car to feed the parking meter, I noticed the Red Skiff Grille. The menu looked good with lots of variety and they... More
