Best breakfast around

Small, but worth the wait. Very good food, and the staff very nice, makes you feel welcomed. Grandson approved for his chocolatechip pancake!

Stopped in for burgers and it was good. Generous size, waitstaff is terrific. Definitely a local joint, they know people by name. Very small inside but waitresses somehow manage to move around the tables with ease. Will come again to try their breakfast, maybe the cranberry pancakes. Highly recommend.

this place is small - maybe 30 seats. in the summer, especially on weekends, i can imagine a long wait to get in but on a rainy morning we only had to wait about 10 minutes. i had the captain's breakfast and my eggs were cooked perfectly to order. my partner had the tomato and cheese omelet and declared it... The Red Skiff is a top breakfast and lunch choice for Rockport locals, and is busy until closing time at 3:00 PM all year round. The Eggs Benedict specials are a favorite and the fried seafood plates are generous and expertly prepared. Freshness of catch is an obvious plus. If you want breakfast, show up by noon! Nobody gets served... More

This was one of the few places open in January. Although my server was quite curt the first day, the second day, another server could not have been more gracious. The food was consistently excellent--crab cakes, good bread choices, daily specials, and a cozy local vibe. I even struck up a conversation with a local person and we traded emails.... More

What a wonderful place for breakfast I was worried that the food would've marginal because it is "no frills" and the prices were so very low. But everything was wonderful Incredible breakfast The platter with pancakes, bacon eggs and potatoes was huge and delicious The side of corned beef hash was excellent and also enormous And the huge homemade blueberry... Typically I would come here for breakfast but don't be surprised to find a crowd at the door. For those who have never been here before, the restaurant is very small, with only a few tables and a counter for guests. Today we dropped by during lunch and although my meal was decent, the tuna had a little too much... More

This restaurant is TINY, but so fun. Three neighborhood kids rode in on their scooters while we were there and had breakfast at the counter. I heard the waitress ask them why their grandfather didn't come down for breakfast too. That's the kind of place it is. The food was good, hearty, not fancy. This is not a boutique restaurant...it... All the locals seem to like it. Friendly service but get there early if you want a table. Coffee is very strong. If you order a muffin, have an appetite, they are huge.
