When my wife, sister and niece strolled around Bearskin Neck in Rockport, Massachusetts, in addition to tourist shopping, we were also looking for a place to eat with nice atmosphere and ambiance. On the way back to the car to feed the parking meter, I noticed the Red Skiff Grille. The menu looked good with lots of variety and they... More

We decided to have an early morning breakfast at Red Skiff and glad we stopped in. The food was plentiful and the menu diverse. The staff was very accommodating and enjoyed the small local breakfast and lunch spot in the downtown area. We had the veggie omelet and pancakes, delicious! Impressed with the portion sizes too. We plan to return... More

Had a wonderful lunch/breakfast. We got there about 10:45 so I was more in the mood for lunch by then than breakfast but my friend wanted breakfast. We got the best of both worlds. She had eggs and pancakes that were awesome and I had the BEST clam roll I've had in a very long time. It was heaping full... More

We went here for breakfast and that may be why we weren't overly impressed. Staff, however were very friendly and that definitely was appreciated and a plus! Food quality, however, was unremarkable. Ordered a veggie omelet and there were a bunch of uncooked and under-cooked veggies wrapped inside of a plain egg and cheese omelet.Husband ordered an omelet that was... More

The baked scallops were amazing! In fact, they were so good, I went back and ordered the same thing the next day. I love scallops but they are hard to find and a lot of places only have them fried, which is not my preference. These were just what I was looking for (and also considerably cheaper than I would... So this place knocked it out of the park for breakfast two days in a row. Drove Kathy to an art class and chose to spend the day in town. Gotta start off with a good breakfast and I began roaming the street. After snagging a space on the warf I turned left and there it was. My kind of... More

We visited the Red Skiff every morning for a week for our breakfast. The warm welcome and good food meant that we didn't have to worry about looking for anywhere else to eat, especially as Rockport hadn't really woken up prior to Memorial Day weekend. Steve and the girls looked after us really well and the locals were friendly. My... More

Honestly, Most of my experience with the Red Skiff was under it's previous owner and it was a family favorite. To us the new one doesn't measure up but truly it might be sour grapes.

Discover this restaurant as it looks like every locals were going there to grab lunch and decided to follow the trend. This place is super cute and friendly and the food is really fresh. We had the lobster roll and the fish and chips. The fish and chips was excellent, the batter was light and crispy and fish amazing. The... More
