Lovely little coffee shop at train station. Serves European pastries and sandwiches. Also soup. They have Berliners! Sort of a filled donut.

The atmosphere is always upbeat, cheerful staff and delicious food. We haven't had a bad thing yet. The pretzel products are great. Berliners delicious. Seeded Pajazzo bread is so authentic and Chocolate Weggli are a favorite! It is nice to have such a good bakery in town.

This is a good bakery, though the hours really only work if you're trying to catch a train in the morning because it is right at the train station. The croissants are very good - both the chocolate filled and the cinnamon. Though they are a little bit on the small side for $2.75 each. The Berliner is also really... More

We love this little bakery. So many wonderful choices and I think we have tried them all. I love the linzer tarte cookies. The quiches are very good as are the pretzels. They even have pretzel buns and rolls which make for yummy sandwiches. The berliners are delicious, maybe could be a little less dense...as in maybe the dough should... More

Do not bother to pick up croissants, etc from here. The only butter that you will find in these croissants will be the butter you put on them yourself. Talk about disappointed - everything I bought from here was dry and horrible. Go to Trader Joe's and pick up their frozen almond croissants and they far surpass these. I would... More

I purchased a Groupon for SwissBakers and redeemed it today. I selected a bacon quiche,(for tonight's dinner) several chocolate croissants, macaroons, choco Berliner ( a light donut) and a loaf of Swiss cinnamon bread and a tuna sandwich on a pretzel roll. I have frozen several of the items, but the sandwich and the Berliners. Both were excellent. The Reading... More

I take the train and Swiss Bakers is right at the station. The servers are very friendly , the coffee is good, and the baked goods are outstanding! The ham and Swiss croissant (and the spinach and cheese croissant) are outstanding - they bake them on the spot and they are warm and crispy and delicious. The other pastries seem... More

I researched the town I went to and this place came up. Being from Germany I am always in search of some good pastries. I was not disappointed. The worst part about it is to decide which pastry to get. Luckily we were two and each got two different things. We tried the almond croissant, a Choco Weggli, and two... More
