Vacation on Cape Cod brought us here again to celebrate the opening of the summer season. The Pointe continues to be one of our favorite restaurants on the Outer Cape. A super menu with a good variety of fish as well as beef, chicken and vegetarian entrees. Interesting appetizers (deviled eggs with bacon) as well as salads set the stage... More

We've eaten at The Pointe a few times now, and are always impressed by the service and the quality of the food. You can choose to eat either in the historic dining room or out on the screened porch, where the sliding glass doors are often open to let in a cool breeze. The servings are generous and the food... Upon entering the restaurant, immediately we were impressed by the staff. One staff member opened the door for us; the manager greeted us warming and allowed us to choose our dining space. Every employee was professional. The atmosphere is really very nice. In terms of food, you'll find the parmesan risotto tasteful and creamy and the asparagus cooked perfectly. My... More

As the only restaurant I had saved as a possibility in P-Town, my wife and I strolled up the hill from the beach and settled into a nice two-top table on their porch. The room was on the small side, but still comfortable.
Our server was very nice and helpful and delivered a couple well-made drinks.

The gnocchi dish with lobster was amazing! Also, the lobster ravioli and calamari were great. The clam chowder was good, but the portion was very small. The steak frites were tasty (especially the frites) but it wasn't the best steak frites we've ever had... stick to the seafood and you won't be disappointed!

My partner and I came here for dinner for our anniversary. This was so elegant and the view was beautiful. Im a super picky eater and was nervous about this restaurant. It was a very small menu-again I was nervous. We ordered appetizers and dinner at same time. So wish id waited. We had the poached lobster and chive gnocchi.... More

A real gem and a great view of the pilgrim monument. Best clam chowder on the cape and the veal chop was done perfectly. Really great wine list with very reasonably priced wines that don't rob your pocket.

Read all the reviews but decided to ask the waiters opinion as well. He recommended the calamari over either lobster app and it was outstanding. The special "Waldorf" salad was fantastic. For entrees we had the special short rib and steak frites. Both were outstanding. We decided to stay local and had a bottle of the Truro Cabernet Franc. It... More

The service and view (Pilgrim Monument) were great, as was the clam chowder. I had been dreaming of the poached lobster and chive gnocchi since I ate it last year, but the more recent rendition wasn't as good. The lobster was fabulous but the gnocchi tasted like oily bits of mashed potato.
