I ate dinner at Fanizzi on New Year's Eve 2009. The entire staff was professional and very friendly. The dining room is warm, cozy and inviting, with beautiful views of Ptown harbor. The calamari appetizer we had was crisp, flavorful and a very generous portion. My friend had the fried clams, which were plump, flavorful and cooked perfectly, not in... more

We spent 10 days on the Cape, eating out quite often. Stumbling upon this restaurant was such a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is wonderful. The view is tremendous. The cuisine is not just italian but so extensive that everyone in our party was more than satisfied. My personal all time favorite is clam chowder so when we are in the... more

This is a great restaurant for a no frills meal that is tasty and an excellent value. Located deep in the east end of town, its sort of off the beaten path, but it doesn't suffer its location. Its always crowded and is definitely a favorite of the locals -- so you know its good. The dining room is located... more

On our first nite and first visit to theCape and to Provincetown, the innkeeper at the Inn at Cook Street made our dinner reservations... She has clout and scored a table by the window overlooking the bay for us on a busy evening. We had a lovely dinner and a nice view. My husband had clam chowder and the fisherman's... more

cajun seafood alfredo was great. No early bird specials were offered as listed on website though. Quite a hike from the action on Commercial street, but worth it. I would go back in a second. more

My experience here was disappointing to say the least. First of all, don't be fooled by the name or that this is classified as an "Italian" restaurant. There are only a handful of Italian dishes on the menu. Second of all, the service was rude and they acted like they didn't want our business -- the bearded man working the... more

We were seated right next to a window overlooking the water. We had crabcakes and Lobster chowder for an appetizer. Both were excellent. For our main courses we had baked stuff sole and the Secret Fried Chicken. The stuffed sole was top notch but the secret fried chicken should stay a secret. I just didnt like it. The room was... more

Totally can recommend this casual waterfront restaurant on the East End of Ptwon. It was our first trip and the Inn made reservations for us but we could not have been happier. It was the typical Cape Cod menu with italian fare. Quite full but they got us seated once our full party was there. We had to take home... more

I live in Provincetown part of the year and have eaten at many great restaurants all over town. But I keep coming back to Fanizzi's several times a week. Why? For the huge menu, great wait staff, reasonable prices, and views from the dining room that can't be beat. You can get all kinds of food from nachos and burgers... more
