The Mews is, and has been for 20 years, our go-to place for both casual just the two of us dinners as well as fancier special event nights. The restaurant could not possibly have a better setting (directly on the bay beach with views over the bay to Truro; think moon-rises over the reflective water) and the food is consistently... More

Even for a winter visit, the Mews never disappoints. We always have a stellar meal at this lovely restaurant. From the delcious martini at the bar to the meal downstairs overlooking the water, the experience and food is delightful. The wait staff is very experienced and helpful. We will always go to the Mews when we are in P-Town.

With not a lot of restaurants opened at this time of the year in Provincetown this place was very busy, I would strongly recommend making a reservation. We had dinner reservation for 8 and were seated shortly after arriving. The menu offers a wide selection of options and the staff is very knowledgeable of the specials. I was concerned when... More

On previous trips, this has been my favorite restaurant, worth multiple visits. This time, we had a perfectly good brunch. But dinner was really disappointing. Both entrees, one the fish special, the other a venison special, were flavored mostly by sugar. So much so that the two proteins were distinguishable only by texture, not taste. Service was great; ambience also... More

Was excited for dinner at The Mews as it came highly regarded. The food was very good (though not cheap) and the atmosphere was excellent. The service was slow though the night was busy. I had the worst Old Fashion I have ever had (seemed more like a bourbon slushy than an Old Fashion). Given the incredible options for restaurants... More

Open all year so I get to go in the off season (I am too busy during the summer). Great staff, great atmosphere, fantastic vodka selection, and wonderful food make this one of my all time favorites. When in P-town one MUST go to The Mews!

Had the fried oysters, the duck, and the crumble for dessert. Oysters had a wonderful flavor, duck was cooked to perfection and the crumble was just right. Going back in three days!

great spot for any occasion or no occasion at all. lively bar scene upstairs and quieter and a tad fancier downstairs with views of the bay. excellent menu choices from burger to wonderful seafood preparations. this latest visit we had incredibly rich and savory mussels in a cream sauce, scallops with pasta that was one of the tastiest dishes i've... The Mews has two restaurants. The more informal dining upstairs is just perfect for a summer night out and most wonderful for providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere in the winter months. They also hold a Monday night Coffee House throughout the winter (hosted by local singer/songwriter Peter Donnelly) which offers the most amazing free entertainment by local singers and... More
