The Real Deal

Went here with friends on a recent trip to Provincetown. This is a very popular place with a long wait if you go during prime dinner hours...but if you love seafood, this is the place to go. Our party of four ordered a variety of dishes including lobster, oysters, mussels, and fish and we were not... read more

Baked Scallops Au Gratin…on the half shell. We would make the 6+ hour trip to Provincetown just for this decadent appetizer. They were perfectly cooked in a creamy mornay sauce with a panko-parmesan topping, and a very appealing presentation. We enjoyed them so much we went back the next night and each had our own order. Besides the scallops, I... More

Had lunch here with family, including 4 kids. Great location, and they are used to dealing with groups, kids, etc.

Good food, excellent rich sauces. Long wait for a table with no where to sit or stand. Restaurant way over-booked. Service was very good but a bit slow. Amazingly rich sauces stand out on average to above average seafood. Prices are reasonable. Worth a visit.

Well worth the wait. Its a busy place so expect a queue at the door in summer peak times. We luckily managed to get 3 seats at the small bar area, it was great, as got to see the bar tender in full flow and it meant our drinks were served super fast too. Big menu, with an emphasis on... More

I went to the Lobster Pot on a very busy Saturday night in July. The host, hostess and wait servers were all doing their best considering it was very crowded and crazy that night. I thought the food was good (not great as I do enjoy outstanding seafood in RI) I thought it was a little overpriced but expected to... More

Too expensive and really touristy. It is worth a vist once but I don't think we will go back. There are too many other fantastic and interesting restaurants in Ptown.

My fiancé and I went there for our 5 year anniversary together and the staff surprised us at the end with dessert! The prices for this restaurant is a little on the higher end but the food is worth it. I always get the lobster ravioli

This was a pleasure to have a great wonderful lunch here. I had lobster tacos that where out of this world. And my guest had a lobster roll they where a great size and full of lobster. The best in ptown so far. I highly recommend this place friendly service and the owners greets you at the door.
