Great New England food & a central location

This is a great bet for lunch .The location of the restaurant is in the middle of town .Don't be put off by the line to get in , it moves pretty fast. The prices are good ,waitstaff very pro & the food is outstanding. I just love to get the New England clam chowder in the Portuguese bread bowl.... read more

Fun atmosphere and good food. Not the best food you'll ever have but very good. The great service, location and fun vibe make up for it. Must stop while in ptown

Amazing! We went on a busy Saturday night about 8pm, knowing we'd have to wait (I don't think they take reservations). We were quoted an hour plus, but went upstairs to the bar to enjoy a cocktail pre-dinner. The hostess upstairs asked if we'd like to sit at the bar and since there were only two of us, we opted... The Food and service was great. No table reservations so we had to wait for a table, this went smooth. A very busy place so not the Perfect place for a romatic dinner.

Love to eat lunch at the upstairs bar with Marie or Remy! You must try the Lobster Cocktail or the Scallops Au Gratin ! Fried clams are also a nice treat! Wellfleet oysters rule! Such a well run restaurant! Works like a charm!

Our family of four (mom, dad, and two boys - 3 and 6 yrs. old) stopped in for a Sunday lunch at the Lobster Pot. While the dining room was bustling (and nearly full), we were quickly seated at a table by the window in the 1st floor dining room. The kids were starving and our waiter was nice enough... More

Perfect lobster meal for our out of country visitors! Although we had to wait, we had the beeping lobster and were able to roam within a block and a half, so lots of shopps in that radius kept us busy. then had a drink on Lobster Pot balcony right before we were called. Staff was great, food was perfect. They... More

The Lobster Pot is one of P-Town's well known, MUST GO TO, seafood restaurants. We went on a Saturday night, around 7:30 pm, and after a mere 9 minute wait, we were seated near a window with spectacular views. My fiancee and I each had a BOWL of the New England Clam Chowder (perhaps the BEST I've ever tasted). I... More

This place is very popular but I'm not sure why. The food is OK but the seating is crowded and the service is only average. For lunch I had a lobster salad panini which didn't have a lot of lobster meat. I wouldn't order it again. I don't believe the lobster roll is any better. There are better alternatives nearby.
