Great People Watching & Lunch

We like coming here for a good lunch that is consistently prepared just fine, but not memorable. The food is always good, especially the fish dishes at lunchtime. This time we came in just for a quick sandwich and we ordered a fresh cod sandwich and a filled tuna sandwich. Both are serviced with... read more

I expect high dinner prices on Commercial Street and am willing to pay them but I also expect much better. Our server was not unfriendly but she was certainly not friendly either. She was rather robotic and a bit inefficient. We asked for more bread when the meal was served and she returned two minutes later to ask if we... More

Slightly mixed reviews from four of us at dinner, but overall a good choice for a reasonable meal. Service was excellent - the waitress took the time to review the entrees and make honest recommendations. Two of us loved their meal -- seafood bouillabasse and a huge Thai salad. One really liked theirs and mine was good, but nothing to... More

Nice for outdoor dining. Great lunches however disappointed on a couple of their salads. Love the Cubano sandwich. Service is very good and the prices are....well, it's P town.

Since I was called "Bubali' by my mom when I was growing up, I (we) had to stop in for a quick nosh. We shared a beet and goat cheese salad... some steamers and a couple of beers. The salad was fresh and tasty... the steamers were plentiful and had just a very few bits of sand (hard to fault... More

First time in P-Town in 10 years, and the first two people we asked suggested Bubala's. It was a perfect day and we sat outside under the shade of a tree. My wife and I shared a plate of oysters and a lobster roll. Instead of the normal lobster mixed with some mayonnaise, we opted for it sauteed in butter.... More

Big, rushed, busy, fried, overprices and a good location for tourists. Nothing was any good, it just tasted fried, hot and on a plate. Eat, pay and go.

From our friendly hostess to our waitress who came just at the right time, our visit was lovely. The outdoor patio is splendid for watching the workings of Commercial Street. Can't stress the excellent people watching enough. Our lunches were good and plentiful. I had the Lobster Roll (warm wth butter) & fries, my partner had the Fried Fresh Catch... More
