This restaurant is in a quiet part of town with amazing water views. The service was amazing as was the food. Everything on the menu sounded great and it was difficult to make a selection. I will make it a point to dine here on my next trip to P-town.

There is no better way to end the day than sitting in one of the adirondack chairs in the red inn's deck. Okay, it is the prelude to a great dinner there! We had cod and smoked shoulder. The cod was a little heavy on the rosemary but it was just the way my friend likes it. If time would... More

We order the Cod it was very blend not really tasty at all and the rosemary herb didn't seems to get along with the dishes . Martini was well done and not to wet , very dry and perfect. Server very friendly . Recommend reservation ahead.

Terrific waitress & 1st-rate service at the table. Food was good but you can get good food anywhere. When I called to make a reservation they wanted my credit card number & would charge a large fee if I was a no-show. This is a foul-smelling practice & shows where their heart is. It's not with the customer. The host... More

Provincetown can be overwhelming, even in September. This restaurant was recommended and we found it a welcome respite from the craziness. Serene, with great view. Good wine choices. We had the duck and the fresh catch cod. Both were very good. Get there early enough to catch the fresh seafood at half the price in the lounge. We arrived late... More

Waiters wonderful. location amazing. beautiful ocean front dining! Jazz band fabulous. great drinks, lovely spicy lobster corn chowder! Brioche roll for the lobster roll a tad stale so that was a disappointing mistake that lessened the bite (too dry). and the chicken & biscuit w/ gravy also salty so the food was just OK. Expensive as well. But still worth... More

I love this restaurant. It's easily one of my top 3 favorites in Provincetown. Visiting the Red Inn is an event. 1 - it's pricey. 2 - it's tough to get a good reservation. 3 - you want to savor the experience. Service is always top notch in a Provincetown sort of way - casual, attentive, friendly. One thing that... More

At the far end of Commercial Street where parking is always a problem, we slipped into the last parking spot in the Red Inn's lot and headed across the street for dinner. We had lucked into a reservation, when someone had cancelled, so always put your name in on the waiting list. This is a very popular restaurant and one... More

Restaurants with spectacular views generally have a reputation of having mediocre food. The Red Inn is the exception. Located right on the water, the Red Inn has wonderful food, a cozy atmosphere and stunning views of the bay. Together with an attentive staff and excellent service, the Red Inn makes for a wonderful dining experience. However, the restaurant has one... More

We stopped in for the Sunday Jazz Lunch. A bit of a wait to be seated provided a chance for us to enjoy a Bloody Mary on the deck which is about five feet from the ocean. What a spectacular view! Staff was very friendly and service excellent. Had a wonder mean--the Wellfleet clams are to die for. Music, atmosphere,... More
