I've been to Provincetown numerous times and the better restaurants come and go, but this one has that quality which makes it feel like it has been there for ever, Best of all, the food was truly delicious. We had the scallops which were tender and sweet as well as the Cajun trout which was moist and flavorful. The onion-mushroom... More

A true dinning experience. The staff is fantastic and so welcoming. The dinner was fantastic and so romantic as we sat next to a window over looking the bay. The seafood pasta dish was great!

What a nice place, they have a great bar to sit at before you are seated with great bartenders and nice views of the bay with all the windows around the place. The food was great too, cooked just right, the scallop dinner was excellent and the tuna was very good also. The service for Wednesday night was excellent too.... More

The Red Inn is an old favorite of ours for Provincetown dining. We spend a week in P-town most summers, and that's our "special" dinner place. We've often gone there for our anniversary, and it never disappointed until this year. For the "overall rating," I was tending towards "average" as opposed to prior years when I thought of it as... Very good food, bright bar area, lovely ocean views. We had the raw bar sampler-local oysters, clams, shrimp & lobster. Tasty. Scallop dinner was especially good, as was the braised pork. Cute garden area for drinks & appetizers overlooking the beach. Worth the trip.

This is a great restaurant. The scenery alone is fabulous, but the food and service are also outstanding. You MUST make a reservation for this restaurant. You may have to go at 5:30 pm, but we found that we were able to get a table along the water and they had everything on the menu. By the time we left,... More

You cannot beat the views and the food and service are just as great. I have been to this restaurant and it never disappoints. The duck is served with crispy skin and a moist flavorful bread pudding. Affordable wine list. And again that view!

Ask for corner table with harbor view - quieter and somewhat private. Very good food especially cod and scallops. Parking in their parking lot across the street can be a problem for later times. However, large lot two blocks away.

Waiter didn't have any personality and it was very noisy. Food was o'k. Drinks were o'k. Nothing to really write home about as it was highly recommended! NOT by US !!
