Okay, so the headline has absolutely nothing to do with our dining experience at Ross'. I just think those two words work well together. Stopped by last Friday for Happy Hour. Nice vibe, nothing over stated. View was cool. We noshed on Calamari which was very lightly battered and not salty. Very good. Also had some nice briny Wellfleet Oysters... More

We had read that Ross' Grill was one of the best places to eat in Provincetown. After not being able to get in for dinner, we tried it for lunch instead. It's a small intimate place ... which explains why it's hard to get dinner reservations. Located in an attractive building with open atrium and balconies giving it a New... More

I've dined here previously and remembered it was quite good. Took my travel partner here and we dined at the bar with Cesar as our bartender/server/host/owner. He's great at all of them with a devilish smile. We shared the grilled Romaine Salad...I know its the rage but hot lettuce is not for me....my companion loved it and the bacon, blue... More

Goin there for years. Caesar the new owner has tweeked the menu all for the good. The French dip sandwich which now has an option of Carmelised onion and Swiss cheese was fantastic although I refused to finish it so I could hav the fabulous banana bread pudding. For the evening meal w/ 6 people ; we all loved our... More

We brought back friends to try dinner after eating lunch a few days before. Had some problems with reservations made through Open Table, but cleared up finally. We all enjoyed our selections - chowder, caesar, seafood stew, burger, cod and salmon. Everything well done and well served. We will return and the first timers we brought will also. The water... Food was average quality. The olive oil served with bread was clearly not extra virgin. The calamari appetizer was good, with a generous portion size and an interesting dip (soy based). The entrees (chicken and lamb shank) were okay with the chicken overcooked. Sides of mashed and veggies were nothing memorable. Skipped dessert, would not return considering the prices of... More

Large flavorful portions, great views of the harbor and outstanding service are just a few of the accolades that this restaurant deserves. The variety of food and wine selections provides enough choices for the discerning palate. The waitstaff is terrific.

Kind of hate to tell everyone how wonderful this place is - it's hard enough to get a reservation! A long-time favourite of ours. Caesar is now the owner of the restaurant that he so wonderfully managed for years & brings his customary friendly & knowledgeable food & wine recommendations to customers. The menu consistently offers options for everyone, though... More

Only bummer here is that I don't think it's open for lunch. However it's the absolute perfect dinner spot, especially for couples. Lighting is perfect, ambiance wonderful. Nice jazzy feel to it. Dinner is exceptional.

Ross has wonderful food an active bar scene and a view to be envied. Try the lobster or the scallops and you won't be disappointed. Combine that with really good service and it is hard to find much wrong with this place It is a little hidden from the street which means the locals are eating there.
