We've been here multiple times over the years, and we're never disappointed. The food menu is unique (new American style) and the craft beer selection is plentiful. The only "downside" is that there is often a very crowded wait because the place is so popular with locals and tourists alike.

Despite it being 2pm, the place was packed. There are a lot of big tables for parties of 4+ rather than smaller tables - we waited for 30 minutes while larger parties walked in and were seated. Bar seating was also reserved. While it was very busy, the bartender ignored me for 10 minutes and after being told he would... More

While not glitzy on the outside nor pretentious on the inside, you won't want to miss eating at the friendly Squealing Pig pub on Commercial Street in Provincetown. I was told the food was really Irish/English. However, there was a definite twist to our favorites. For example, the Chicken Curry is to die for. An incredible flavor permeates throughout and... I had a couple of meals here in early March and very much appreciated the fact that the Squealing Pig was open. Fantastic smoked seafood chowder and great BLT sandwich with thick cut bacon, grilled tomatoes, and arugula. I wasn't sure the arugula was going to work but it did. Nice selection of beers and good service.

We went here on NYE. We overheard another table saying they were trying to close up as we came in but the waiter came over and said they planned to be open as long as there were guests. He was really helpful in identifying drink options for all of us and made us feel very comfortable. He also made recommendations... More

I went with three friends, and we all ordered a different sandwich and different toppings on our fries. It was all good. (Although, the curry fries were our least favorite.) They also had a great beer selection with some local options. And you cant beat the location. If I lived in Ptown, I would be a regular.

This small pub restaurant reminds me a bit of Ireland and is known for great oysters. Friendly staff and bartender. While the fried chicken was good my fish curry was not. The cod was deep fried but didn't taste fresh. We all had a good time in this packed restaurant which was Fat Jacks once upon a time.

Major attitude from the bartender! Unpleasant and unhelpful. Restaurant was not busy and we sat at a table with no acknowledgement for 20 minutes. Finally asked the bartender for a menu and he said "what do you need a menu for?". We asked if we could eat at that table and he replied "yes that's what a table is for".... More

This is a comfy bar with about a dozen tables and a good selection of lunch items. There is a small wine list featuring about 6 selections each of reds and whites. The price is the same for all wines on the list - $9/glass or $36/bottle. Fresh Welfleet oysters come in orders of 6 with either cocktail sauce or... More
