A great meal on a cool day

LOVE this pub for its atmosphere and menu, especially in the off-season for their hearty comfort foods. Good burgers and GREAT fried seafood including fish and chips as well as stew and some great beers.

I’m addicted to seafood and the “PTown Pig” expectantly delivered one of the best fried seafood dinners I have had in quite a long time! I generally do not get my seafood fried, but I decided to give their “Famous Fish Fry” a try. I “squealed” with delight as the coating was perfectly seasoned, light, and crisp. The plate consisted... Surprisingly this bar/restaurant offered a good selection of local & craft beer selections, both on tap and in bottles. Their menu rocked as it offered a variety of local and organic dishes. Very rarely do you find healthy, organic or local options at a bar. The beers were crisp and on point. The food was good as we ordered Vegetable... More

It is a small place but we were seated quickly. The service was good and good size portions were served. I had the fried seafood platter and it all tasted fresh, not made from frozen pre-made stuff.

On a Tuesday evening in April, this place was packed and our waiter was working triple time. Thank goodness he took the time to help me choose between the two sandwiches. My Irish bacon, roasted tomatoes and avocado sandwich, with a side of truffle fries, was delicious! My efforts to re-create the sandwich at home sadly was not. Be prepared... More

The french fries are so good, the fried chicken is pretty good as well. Dining room is a bit crowded but take out is alway available. French fries, they have some with parmesan and truffle oil too and they are pretty good as well.

We stopped in here for a late lunch while vacationing. The restaurant is very welcoming. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and informative. I had the fish and chips, and this was the most tender fish I have ever had. My husband had the Wellfleet oysters, shucked right there at the bar in front of... More

Spending Easter on the Cape and stumbled across the Squealing Pig. So glad we did. The oysters were awesome, the lamb burger was off the chart and Brian was an awesome host. Thank you!
