There are a lot of options for dining in P-town but we were happy with this choice. The menu includes some traditional Portuguese fayre, though I didn't try any. My burger-based club was tasty, the chips were good too.

Ok the food here is really good, so is the service. Casual & relaxed it's definitely a family style restaurant with tons of options even for the pickiest eater. I always get lobster while my partner loves their kale soup. This place is a favorite of the locals so it's always crowded but it's a fun atmosphere however not one... More

We had the fried seafood platter, which included fish, big scallops, shrimp, clams and some stuff (not sure what) all fried in a light crisp batter, served with fries and coleslaw. Fair choice of beer and wine by the glass. We couldn't finish it and in hindsight one between two would have sufficed. All well cooked and quite tasty, with... More

Seems very popular (why we tried this place). Food was plentiful and unpretentious with a good selection. Fine for lunch - probably not for dinner.

My husband and I ate at this restaurant are the food was amazing. I had the lobster in a Ritz Cracker casserole and could only eat half. It was very filling and was filled with so much lobster. I was impressed how much lobster they put in the casserole especially since it was well priced. My husband had the clam... More

Service : fast and effective; Fried calamari : run-of-the-mill; Seafood platter : unimpressive, but not bad; Stuffed Sole à la portuguese : unimpressive, but not bad… lackluster shrimp cocktail with that red sauce all that for $62 (excluding taxes, service and drinks). Never again.

Was in P-town a few days ago and stopped at the Mayflower Restaurant for lunch. They had a special for 9.99 - fish sandwich and a beverage but we opted for something Portuguese. Well I am a fan of Caldo Verde/Portuguese Kale soup. It ranks pretty high up there in my book, Smokey flavor of the linguica pampered my palate.... More

If you want less of an overpriced meal than most of the overpriced places in town, the Mayflower is not bad at all. Their food is decent and the service is fine. The place is not fancy at all. Great people watching from the window seats.

We stopped at the Mayflower for lunch in the afternoon while shopping. The restaurant had a nice menu with reasonable prices. The food was really good and the atmosphere was great. The waitress was absolutely terrible. I don't know if she was having a bad day but she never came back to check on if the food was okay or... More
