We just finished a whale cruise and were looking for dinner. This place was just a block away and looked inviting. We checked the reviews, which were average, but thought we'd give it a try. Our Portuguese waitress was sweet and efficient. Glad to talk to her customers. The menu had plenty of choices, the food was delicious we all... More

Good place for a relaxed meal. Nice cocktails, good American seaside food. Spaghetti and fried chicken was a favourite of mine here. Decent price for the huge portion sizes, and a nice family-restaurant atmosphere.

We've been vacationing in P'Town on and off for the last 32 years. During a week's stay, the Mayflower Cafe is good for at least 2 and sometimes 3 dinners. Best price in town for a great lobster. Their fish and spaghetti casserole is yummy as is the Indian Pudding for dessert.

The sign out front stated: $15.00 market price - AWESOME! It is a diner with delicious flavors. The service was excellent too!

We ate here every night we were in P Town. It was such a varied menu, we didn`t have enough time to eat our way through all we fancied. The seafood was superb and such good prices. I had a Lobster dinner for $14.99! In Europe the same would have cost 80 Euros. Friendly waiters and a welcoming atmosphere completed... More

OK, the Mayflower doesn't look like much from the outside -- or the inside. That said, sit down and prepare to enjoy the best lobster rolls in town....juicy, buttery lobster with just the right amount of mayo, on a warm, toasted, butter bun. We tried several other "more popular" P'Town restaurants for lobster rolls, and came back to the Mayflower.

Good dinning option in Provincetown. Lobster to hamburgers, a bit of everything for all family members. Service was very good with attentive staff. Prices seemed to be average for the area.

Popular but no reservation was needed. We had lasagne and spaghetti. Nothing wrong with that. Just a bit boring as the restaurant.

When a menu is very large it often means a lot of items are frozen and we suspect this was true here which may have accounted for the variation in food quality. Italian meatball sub had a strange texture, eggplant parm was good, seafood platters poor, lobster roll outstanding...so, hard to rate. May want to quiz the wait staff re... More
