Good value right in the thick of the action!

We ate at the Mayflower twice while in Provincetown MA. Our 1st visit occurred the evening we arrived in P-town. By the time we decided where to eat, it was 7:30PM. I ordered a pound of peel & eat shrimp & 2 meatballs; my spouse had a bowl of clam chowder accompanied by a half loaf of garlic... read more

We went here three years ago and they must have changed hands. The waiter was unattentive. The food was not great at all. And the place needed some money put back into it...our seat at our booth was saggy. We will not return.

This is ok - the food is fine but you just feel a little like it is a tourist trap. Ok but don't go out of your way to eat here!

My husband and I enjoyed a good dinner at reasonable prices. He had a burger (cooked exactly to order) and kale soup, which he proclaimed terrific. I had a large salad with shrimp. The greens were fresh and crisp, and the shrimp perfectly cooked. We always try to stop in every time we're in Ptown, and this was the first... More

We went to the Mayflower Restaurant one afternoon for lunch. We were seated at a table promptly. The waitress came gave us our menus and was standing there for like 30 seconds and asked us if we were ready to order. ( No we just sat down please gives us a few min. to look at your menu ). She... It was a cold, rainy day in PTown and we just wanted something warm in our bellies. The MayFlower cafe was an excellent choice. They menu is large and offers quite a bit of variety., something for everyone! prices are very reasonable for food that is good quality. We both ended up ordering the Hot Turkey dinner. They allow you... More

We wandered in on our first night in Provincetown and had a wonderfully simple meal! I had chicken croquettes which I had not had since I was a child, just as I had remembered, very tasty. My spouse had eggplant parmesan, which he totally raved about, crisp with good sauce, which is hard to find. The service was prompt and... More

Had lunch in here. Lobster tails, fries and slaw. Slaw and fries were good... Lobster a bit rubbery and over cooked. Server was very nice and friendly but the host dude that seated us was rude. Children's food was large portion and fairly tasty. I thought a bit pricey all in given the pretty standard level of food. If you're... More
