Tasty Mexican and Other Cuisines

Not a lot of options for vegetarians, but the black bean and tofu burrito was tasty and humongous! Supposed to be Latino, but other items like a falafel and hummus plate were on the menu.

Lorraine's has been in at least three locations since we started going there but the food has always been exceptional. It is flavorful and sometimes unusual but always delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about Ptown. It's a special place.

I have been a big fan of Lorraine's for more years than I can remember. It has always been my go-to spot while staying in Provincetown, sometimes dinner every night of my stay. Yes, it was that good. And yes, my little doggy paws used the past tense. As usual for any trip to Provincetown, I went there for dinner... More

Remember her restaurant in the other end of town? This is actually even better. Great outdoor (and indoor if you want) atmosphere. Creative Mexican cuisine. Easygoing but very tasty food. Great specials. And those margueritas. Yum. Great experience.

A shadow of it's former self. Sadly we have been going to Lorraine's for many years and were excited that it had reopened. Unfortunately neither the service or the food is up to what it previously was. The carnitas was my favorite, and this time is was dry and not flavorful. The tequela selection has dropped from it's former glory... More

We were pleasantly surprised with Lorraine's Cafe which is tucked away on Commercial Street. A few outdoor tables on the heated patio and a few tables inside make the place cozy and comfortable. A great tequila menu and Mexican drink menu add to the authenticity. We went on Taco Tuesday which was very affordable, the portions were generous and well... More

We enjoyed a couple meals at Lorraine's Cafe in recent weeks. We have followed this talented chef to several of her locations. The Cafe now feels "right sized" - it's intimate without being crowded, the food is wonderful, and the waitstaff accommodating. We enjoy the outside seating in good weather. The flavors is the food are bright and fresh where... More

Tucked away in a side alley across and a stones throw away from Ace Hardware, this Mexicana restaurant serves up some delectable dishes south of the border. Try the burrito with grilled chicken or the tuna taco and the bean salad. Refreshing on a hot summer Ptown afternoon. Especially when you get a table in the patio under those big... More

Not your usual Mexican restaurant, this small restaurant has excellent gourmet food that doesn't skimp on proportions. It also has a huge selection of tequilas, with a knowledgeable waitstaff.
