Tasty Mexican and Other Cuisines

Not a lot of options for vegetarians, but the black bean and tofu burrito was tasty and humongous! Supposed to be Latino, but other items like a falafel and hummus plate were on the menu.

Not your usual Mexican restaurant, this small restaurant has excellent gourmet food that doesn't skimp on proportions. It also has a huge selection of tequilas, with a knowledgeable waitstaff.

The best food that we had all week. Everything was awesome. Steamers, ceviche , nachos, fish tacos. We are only here for a week, but we will be going back for another meal.

I've no idea why people wait for food that can be good, can be horrible, or not what one ordered but won't be corrected. The owner is extremely rude and acts like she's doing you a favor by letting you eat there. The wait staff is arrogant and cold. I was walking past the restaurant once and witnessed the chef,... It was fantastic food especially the carnitas enchiladas. The chips and salsa were great and we were stuffed at the end of the night

We have always loved Lorraine's, however on this lunch visit we were surprised by the less than stellar service. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. 4 meals came out perfect, 2 came out and were not correct and 2 didn't come to the table until we were all done. No apologies. No offer of reduced check or complimentary desert.... More

We live in town and have not enjoyed a Mexican meal in a while so we decided to try Lorraine's Cafe. We had eaten at Lorraine's years ago when the restaurant was in a different location. The restaurant is on the second floor in the rear of Commercial Street and is obviously not easily accessible for some of those with... More

We chose Lorraine's because we wanted the Best Margarita in town. Instead we found a great owner - Lorraine, a wonderful menu, a super waiter, and a bartender with a 'tude who made us mediocre Margaritas and argued with us when we asked to correct them! Would we return - absolutely, because we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and Lorraine took... More

Lorraine's was recommended by a friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I had the pork Carnitas (slow-cooked pork) - to say it was marvelous would be selling the dish short. My wife had the Quesadillas de Cameron (shrimp quesadillas) - again - totally scrumptious. A reason to travel to Provincetown just to eat at Lorraine's. And do not miss... More
