The lobster alfredo was pretty good, but the Yankee pot roast was pretty bad. The service for us was okay, but the waitress forgot to put the order in for the table next to us. We should have read the reviews first. It is not a place we would go back to.

Was here for Halloween weekend. Got there 1pm, about 10 tables out of 25 that were full. So, pretty quiet . Waitress was kind. Starved, ordered French toast with side bacon asap. Coffee came quick. One hour later, French toast, cold in middle, chewy, had been previously frozen (was in foodservice 22 yrs). Frozen! They had microwaved it. Then grilled... More

This place was very reasonable for a great sit down dinner. It was like an Irish Bar setting. Service and Waiter were great. There was much to choose from and great prices. Ask for the specials as that it was we did and I had a great piece of Prime rib.

Went there as it was the only restaurant open for lunch on Thanksgiving. It is a pub so our expectation was heartburn for the next day. We were surprised instead!! The food was good quality and well cooked, beer was good, the service was good and prices reasonable.

Went to Ptown with my husband and our dog to walk around on Halloween. We needed to find a pet-friendly restaurant, and decided to eat at the Governor Bradford. The Bradford has an outdoor patio area that allows pets. Waitstaff was great. We split kale soup, which was very good. We both had cheeseburgers and fries, which were delicious. This... More

actually the staff was good, our waiter and hostess were ok. the rub was the food . When on the cape you would expect to order lobster. well we did and it was lousy. They served it with a plastic cup of oil. supposedly drawn butter. As a chef, and even if your not a culinary wiz I would think... More

While waiting for a seat across the street at the Lobster Pot I checked out the menu of Governor Bradford Restaurant while talking outside with the hostess. I returned my buzzer to the Lobster Pot and had dinner here. Simple furnishing, friendly staff and good deal on the food. Half a roasted chicken, potatoes, asparagus a salad and rolls for... More

After a fabulous whale watch ride and walking through town, we decided to eat at General Bradford's. It was getting chilly and the menu offered good choices for the weather. The service was good and so was the food. I enjoyed the roasted chicken and my husband and daughter got the chicken parmesan which include rolls and salad. We didn't... More
