We go to front street every year for delicious Italian. We make our reservations well in advance and look forward to our eggplant involtini appetizer, it's to die for! Both the Kitchen & Waitstaff knows what they are doing! Must make a reservation to get in during high season.

We have been going to Front Street for years and it never disappoints. Eggplant appetizer was awesome as was soft shell crab and our entrees. We missed the house salad, which was a surprising change from years past.

We really enjoyed this place. Service and food was first class. Reservation is a must as they are on the small side. A must try is the tea smoked duck. Never heard of this before but it was fantastic.

I loved it - the seating for 4 was very close and easy to have a conversation in the wooden high backed booths. The food was very tops. I have wanted to go back again. The couple we were with thought the atmosphere a bit claustrophobic and the prices out of their range.

Service is just perfection attentive very waiters are very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Make reservations if you want to eat here as it is always packed. One FYI they... More

Always Fabulous! Recently Bobby and I had dinner here. As always it was a perfect dining experience. In all the years that I have been eating here, never have I had a bad experience. I expect I never will! We started with our favorite appetizer, the eggplant involtini For dinner I had the Tuscany pasta with chicken, Bobby had the... More

Visited July 5, 2014. First thing which struck us is that's it's rather dark, quaint, and tucked away from the outstanding people watching of commercial street. This was a drawback for us, so be forewarned that it's not cape cod-like in regards to the atmosphere whatsoever. Waitress was superb. She was direct and had a wealth of knowledge about the... More

I try to go here every summer with the same group of friends. We all always enjoy it. Everything, soup, salad, apps, main dish, always great. This time I had the veal and shrimp piccata. Very good! And the veal so tender I could cut it with my fork! Great service. Never had to ask for water, bread, drinks etc.... More

If you are looking for great Italian fare, head over to Front Street. As the name implies, this wonderfully charming eatery has been a Commercial Street favorite for years. Don't' let its longevity fool you, as the Chef keeps the menu fresh with daily specials and a strong wine list. If you are solo, sit at the bar or with... More
