Great find

We originally were going to eat at another restaurant and the wait was about 45 minutes so we decided to go for a walk and came upon Ciro & Sals. What a great find. From Cape Cod to Italy, in a few steps! Down a narrow alley, to a sweet little entry, this restaurant should not be missed. The atmosphere is superior to the food, which I found very good. The reviews I read got me nervous. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the bread is very basic, but I've had worse. I got the... More

Absolutely my favorite place to eat. The food is amazing from the traditional iceberg lettuce salad to the flavorful fish Abruzzese. The extensive wine menu has something for everyone on it. The romantic atmosphere just adds to experience. When visiting Provincetown don't miss out on this hidden treasure.

I live on Cape Cod but had not been to Provincetown in years. Then I purchased an email discount deal for Ciro & Sal's and thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this funky historic town. Ciro & Sal's is a cozy downstairs spot located on a tiny alleyway in P'town's East End. The front dining room has a crackling fireplace (in... More

My husband and I loved this restaurant for many years and we ate there at least twice a year. We never looked at the menu because we had our favorite meal that we'd salivate for weeks before we got there. It was veal marsala with the house salad and a dish of pasta with red sauce. We used to get... More

I love this place. Old fashion Italian places were once a staple in New England as there were so many Italians. And now with the influx of newer restaurants, the Italian places are starting to die away. This place is a great mix of old school, basic New England Italian and newer Italian food that you'd find in a fancier... More

The dinning room is unique. When we were there it was windy and raining out and the roaring fireplace made us comfortable fast. The service was attentive. There were four of us and we ordered different dishes. I liked that you could order 1/2 a pasta to add to a entrée. We chose a reasonable priced red & white wine.... More

After hearing great things about the restaurant, I was a little "eh" about the experience in the end. We had a reservation for 8pm, and were not seated until 8:45pm. The hostess was not very accommodating and seemed frazzled and a bit short with other parties including us. Once we were seated, the waitress took our order around 9:10-9:15pm, however,... More

Can't say enough great things about Ciro & Sal's. Certainly among the best Italian meals we have had, and being a Sicilian from Brooklyn, New York that is saying a lot. My wife had the Calamari Piccanti and I had the Seafood 'Fra Diavalo' both were incredible. The ambiance is charming complete with traditional straw wrapped Chianti bottles hung everywhere... More
