Excellent, but not as good as it was

Have been coming to Ciro and Sal's for 22 years. Went there tonight. Oysters Giannini tasted good but were undercooked. They should have been put under the broiler longer. Pasta Abruzzese tastes just as good as it always has and the sauce was excellent, but there was only one shrimp in the whole... read more

Beat the crowd and dine around 6:00pm. The food is excellent and the service is very good. They have daily specials and an early bird untill 6:30pm. Its worth the walk from town center and located in the art district. Call ahead or reserve online, I dont think you will be disappointed.

We've been coming to Ciro & Sals for decades. We have seen it through transitions. Food has remained pretty consistent throughout the years. It's still the best pasta in town for a very fair price. Service can be uneven, but you are well cared for. If there ever has been a 'glitch' either from the kitchen or the service, someone... More

My partner and I have been coming to Provincetown for years, and we stumbled upon Ciro & Sal's this past weekend. It is a hidden jewel located down a shell alley way in the East End gallery district. The atmosphere is charming with low warm lighting and brick walls. I ordered the artichoke hearts and prosciutto appetizer which is phenomenal!... More

Alright, so I don't like sea food. Did that have to mean I couldn't eat a decent meal in Provincetown? On our last night here we went to Ciro & Sal's on a recommendation and I had one of the best meals I have ever had. This place is a dimly lit cellar down a narrow alley off Commercial Street... Ciro and Sal's was such a great favorite of mine in the late 80's and 90's but started getting hit or miss and since we went every Summer, our group tried out other great restaurants in the area. We tried again and had a great experience when visiting Ptown in 2005. Made reservations with trepidation last night after reading some... More

I have to say Ciro & Sal's has the very best Italian food. Every year I eat there two/three times during my 10 day stay. I absolutely love their deep fried zucchini, meatballs, sausage. The atmosphere is wonderful, the wait staff are always pleasant.

Went early and tried the early "pri-fixe" special, for $30. Great soup to start(minestrone) very fresh ingredients, lettuce salad w/ tangy dressing, entrees were more than satisfying and then cheesecake was marvelous. Wines were very pricey but other than that it was a very good ambiance and the service was top notch.

We found this place by accident. We were very lucky to have gotten a table downstairs. The food was good and all homemade. We loved the ambience of sitting in the "basement." If you are in the mood for Italian while in P-town, this is a must.

The ambience of this place is unique but only go downstairs upstairs is not special. Low ceilings dark lighting hanging wine bottles it is very cool. Ive been going her 50 years it never disappoints. Had the steak au povire special was very good. Pesto and alfredo sauces excellent. Order the house salad yes its very boring just ice berg... More
