This is the place for no nonsense burritos, fajitas and the like. Reasonably priced for Provincetown. Large portions, selection of Mexican beers, and a surprise sighting of Geraldo Rivera. What could go wrong?

After eating lots of mussels, swordfish and 'catch of the day', we decided to try one of the few Mexican eateries in town. El Mundo is located in the heart of P-town's Commercial Street. We had an early dinner in order to attend a local show and were seated around 5:15. (Many other restaurants in town close after lunch and... More

This year will be our 3rd heading to the area, and all year we've talked about the drinks and burritos from here. Excellent staff, great setting, great food.

We stopped here for lunch, thinking it would be a nice change from the typical sandwich and french fries, and we were not disappointed. The beans and rice were very tasty, and the portion sizes generous. The service was good, and we were able to sit outside on a beautiful afternoon. Definitely a good stop!

My partner and I stopped by this place after a cloudy/rainy day of shopping on Commercial Street. Service was very attentive, El Tesoro margarita was perfect, and the chips with black bean and chipotle had just the right heat. We split the fish taco (nice sized swordfish)- fish and accompaniments were delicious, soft taco would have been better served warmed/toasted.... More

We are vegan and you just tell then that and they help you. Most of the sauces are vegan and the beans and rice is also! Delicious burritos and quac! The green salsa that smothered the burrito was amazing! Delish drinks also! We love this place, great staff always!

We went here for early dinner - in the back there is a small yard with 5-6 tables and outlook to the beach and boats, so they are quickly taken, we had to sit inside, which was also nice and we could still look outside to the beach. Service staff was friendly, attentive, we had Quesadilla and Carnitas, food was... More

Lovely location in P- town. Get there early on weekends and you will likely get a table outside (we arrived at 6:30). The deck overlooks the harbor, really lovely. Fish tacos were good, however a bit pricey for the amount. Wait staff was attentive and food came in a timely manner. Great Marguarita!! I will return.

We had lunch in this nice place. My daughter had decent options for her vegetarian way of eating. The four of us had a shared plate of nachos as a starter. It was delicious! I had a ceviche of octopus and prawns. It was delicious and refreshing. Very fresh! But it was a bit small as a main dish. Good... More

My family (kids and their kids--a total of 8 with a big bill) ate dinner here which they rated ok but nor swell. My husband and I (grandparents) and the rest of the family who had eaten elsewhere had arranged to meet at El Mundo for margaritas when we were done. We walked in to find them and were immediately...
