Wow, everything the four of us had was delicious. The salmon cakes, the "meatloaf", and oh my the dessert was amazing. I can't recall the name of it, but they compared it to bread pudding. I'm not a huge fan of bread pudding, but this was heavenly!

This is an awesome place to eat. They offer a variety of foods for those that enjoy something a little different.
Don't go expecting the full restaurant service experience but DO GO if you want authentic SA style food and enjoyment.
A simple affair, you select and order at the counter, pick the drinks (mainly SA offerings) and then the food arrives at your seat. We sat outside and having eaten in Cape Town, Karoo Kafe keeps it true to the...

This is superb food from South Africa. Having traveled in South Africa, I can attest to it's authenticity. The owners are true to their homeland. The restaurant is small, but very comfortably informal
Our B&B recommended this place. We almost went twice because we liked it so much. Very casual--order and pay at the counter, sit inside or outside. We like the food very much, there are many choices, and it was not expensive. More moderately priced places to eat are difficult to find in Provincetown.
Totally delicious South African food. Freshly made, hearty dishes. We loved going here after our whale watching boat trips. It looks unassuming but the food is great.

We really felt we should eat lobsters on the water in Provincetown but the unique menu drew us in. Really, how often do you get a chance to eat Authentic South African food? The decor was funky and interesting. I must admit that I was disappointed when I saw the food was served on paper plates and the wine in...

I loved this place. I am always in the mood for something totally different and Karoo did not disappoint. It was a potentially rainy evening and a high school friend and I were venturing out for dinner. It POURED. Unique food, no hurry, an importance on environment and recycling made this stop a favorite. I had ostrich, several bean dishes...
