What a fantastic evening! On my recent trip there we had a large party of six with one of my dear friends who is soooo OCD! Our server was fantastic answering all of his questions about the menu! Jimmy had this wonderful Watermelon Martini with Feta & salt rim that was a creation of wonder! The Watermelon & Heirloom Tomato... More

I chose dinner at Jimmy's after seeing it was highly rated. The service was great, the soup was delicious, the lobster was only okay and totally overpriced and not very tasty. Charging $47.00 for a lobster because it's out of it's shell is ripping off the customers, 5 stars would not be my rating. I wouldn't go back.

We were greeted warmly by the host, and our request for a window table was honored which was much appreciated; service was friendly and efficient. There was a nice selection of medium-priced wines. For appetizers we had the mini Beef Wellingtons--4 tender and very flavorful little treats, as well as the spinach salad which was very good. For entrees we... More

We have visited Jimmy's from the first summer it opened. This is one of our must reservations every year. Jimmy and Rafe are two solid personalities who are true professionals. Whether you eat at the bar or a table, drinks and food are always good. We look forward to next year.

A below ground tavern right on Commercial Street. Dark wood and indirect lighting sets a romantic and cozy tone. My husband had the roast chicken which was moist and fell off the bone. I had the Portugese cod which was fried and served over rice, tomatoes, beans and kale in a wonderful broth. The spinach and goat cheese salad with... More

Recommended by a friend. We sat at the bar, even there you made need reservations. The owner, Jimmy, the service people and the patrons were all terrific. Can't wait to go back.

The food is great here, the place inside is dark but cozy. I had the food from the Starter Menu - I had the Lump Crab and Corn Cakes drizzled with Creole Alioli that made the crab cake taste just delicious and you can tell the crab meat was fresh, not fishy taste or smell at all. My friend had... More

Jimmy's Hideaway is appropriatly named because it is tucked back away from the busyness of commercial street. I have only been here once, a few years ago, but it was very good. It has a small dining room, with dark wood, and a bar area. To me, it seemed a little dark so a better place to go for dinner... More

Jimmy's is expensive and has a tucked away feeling like you've entered a boat halfway below water--lots of dark wood. Tables are crowded in and we had to sit adjacent on our square table. It's also expensive, even by Provincetown's standards (they gotta make the money in the season). Who cares? Terrific food and a waitstaff that knows their menu,... More
