Fantastic Birthday Dinner

The food was fantastic. Really, really good. The food would place this rating as excellent. The calamari is amongst the best I have ever had...crunchy, tasty, warm, and with a delicious lemon topping. The drinks went down way too smoothly accompanied by an orchid! I think my daughter ate the... read more

I know there is ambience but this restaurant is just plain tacky. My husband ordered the haddock and it arrived looking like a small house brick. On cutting it there was stuff in the middle which upon asking the waitperson what it was was assured by the cook that it was uncooked batter! They replaced the fish but it had... More

My husband and I have enjoyed the Blue Eyed Crab since they opened and I've written reviews in the past about what a wonderful experience we always have. We dined there a week ago and I can't believe it but the food just keeps getting better! Jim Casey, the chef owner, continues to be extremely creative. My only problem when... More

Have been several times. Have not been disappointed in the food. But, on my latest visit I was greeted by the über liberal, little watched and brain dead MSNBC on the television behind the bar. I am very surprised that an owner would want to show their clientele just how far they they could shove their head up their crab... More

If I we're to rate the place on food alone it would receive a better rating. But coupling it with service brings it down a notch. There was six in our party and we arrived at 6pm. We were seated immediately because there wasn't very many people. When we went to order the waitress said they had a busy day... More

Had reservations for six and we were seated immediately on a busy Saturday night. We had four different entrees and all were excellent ... The chorizo fish stew was especially good. Yum!! Nice variety on the menu. Looking forward to eating here again.

Just driving through to see Plymouth Rock and it was dinner time before we knew it. Looked around at the variety of eateries that were open in this cold and snowy town. We decided to try the Blue Eyed Crab. We hit the jackpot here. THE best clam chowder I have ever tasted anywhere. I thoroughly enjoyed my Cuban sandwich... More

Very nice decor. Service a bit on the slow side. Very inventive meals, apps, etc., however, if you have someone who prefers just a burger...not the place to go. Tho' they do have a burger! We enjoy variety and everything we had was delicious! I especially liked their seafood stew....Yum! Nice touch that the owner stopped and introduced himself. The... More

The food here is always fresh and an experience to try. We feel as if we are back in the carribean while here. Excellent variety of choices and fun to try new things!! This is chef owned and he takes a lot of pride with the menu and is always there for a chat when he's in the dining area.... More
