Lovn' the Lobster

Dockside view-great Had two lobster specials: 1 w/ 2 lobsters & 1 w/ 1 lobster reasonable wait; meal complete with cole slaw & fries (small helpings); lobsters very good-full claws & body. This is a typical "do-it-yourself" restaurant so you save on tipping by waiting picking-up your order... read more

Checked them out today while in town. Enjoyed a lobster roll and tried the crab cakes. The lobster roll was good but nothing special. The crab cakes were good but I have enjoyed better. The price of the food is competitive. I thought my food came out in good time. If you aren't fortunate enough to find a spot near... More

I'm giving a poor review because with fresh fish on hand they have so much potential. Instead, everything gets fried. The grilled swordfish and tuna is always over cooked. If you don't want to be health conscious, order up the fried clams, they're the best on the south shore. I just wished they offered a green salad, some veggies or... More

not the prettiest place in town but okay to stop for a quick lunch. I had the crab cakes, good but as I watched others with there orders I did wish I would have tried the lobster roll or the lobsters themselves as they looked great. Not sure if the cole slaw was home made but had really good flavor!... More

This is such a nice place on the waterfront. The food is so fresh and you can smell the ocean air. Serving sizes are very large.

Heard about this place from the staff at our resort and decided to try it - it was great. Ordered food and though the restaurant part of the place is small - we arrived and got a seat - by the window no less which helped entertain our grandson who is 4. He drew pictures, watched the seagull, the fishermen... More

This is right on the water in the harbor. It's not fancy by any means but this is the best lobster I have eaten in a long time. The price is right too. You also get french fries (not that good0 and coleslaw (good). They are so fresh. I would love to eat there again as they had so many... More

We live in the area, and have several choices for fresh local seafood, but if you are looking for blue collar, brown bag no nonsense deliciousness, then Wood's is for you. The location at Town Pier is perfect, literally fish comes off the boats out back and is cooked minutes later. This is not the place for a dinner date or romantic... More

I never tire of Woods -- always reliable and fresh no matter WHAT you want -- lobster rolls, fish and chips -- Best FAST food around for seafood! Better than Lobster Hut in my opinion, because there is a quick turnover of fish given that it is also sold in their fish market. GREAT fried clams!!!!! Expect to share especially... More

Great place to go for fresh seafood, and it is right on the water. It is not fancy, but that's not why you would go there. Been there many times.
