the best seafood in plymouth

the best seafood ever and the price is right. this is where I eat every summer when I visit. its right on the old wharf. get ready to wait because theres always a line. but it is worth the wait.everything tastes better by the sea.

The best bargain for fresh fish on the south shore! Order the fish sandwich if you want a great piece of cod with fries for under $10. Great chowders, dinners plus a view. Good for carry out-- just call ahead.

Food was ok...but not as good as I expected. We are local, and unfortunately, we will not go back...the musty smell was overpowering.

We go here a lot for the best fried clams!! The portions are pretty good size and the prices are reasonable. You place your order at the counter and then they call your number. It is very informal, but right on the water in Plymouth. Worth the trip!!

Skip the cafeteria or overly priced style of the lobster hut next-door and go to this little gem that is just like a little fishing shack. Food is fresh and unassuming. Not for those looking for fine dining, more a lobster bib type of place. PS. Don't feed the sea gulls. You'll regret it!

Of all the sea food Restaurants in the Plymouth and South Coastal area this one is total value for money, dont expect a fancy place, fancy state of the art dinnerware and cutlery, do expect a clean place to eat fresh fish, happy staff, quick service and an overall lovely feeling.

Wood's Seafood, on Plymouth's Town Wharf, has been a local mainstay for a long time. Whenever we locals want a good seafood platter, scallop roll, or fried clams (with bellies, of course!), we always know that we will enjoy a good, relaxing meal at Wood's. A down-to-basics décor with great views of the harbor's goings-on, Wood's is always suggested when... More

This is an eat-in or take-out restaurant in the typical New England "clam shack" style. The food is very good. Fried foods are nicely done are lightly battered and not greasy. Other choices are baked, or broiled and usually served with a choice of rice pilaf or fries. the restaurant also has a fish market section with a nice choice... More

Where else can you get a fish sandwich with fries for six bucks and change? It's strait off the boat! Your the first thing the fish sees when it hits land !

We,ve gone to this on season and off.. Most of the time it is very good and fresh. Sometimes a different cook can make a difference in timing or texture. Scallops are very sifficult to time right and I hate "chewy" so be careful! On the plus side, lobster by the water can't be beat!!!!!
