On Plymouth harbor a small place where you order at a counter and wait for your number to be called. I thought the portions were small for the price paid.

A typical 'order your food and find a seat' establishment, Wood's offered a very nice selection of items and we tried several. Although early in the lunch hour, just before noon, we had to clean our own table. Not a great way to start. The fish and chips were certainly good but the accompanying cole slaw was just average. The... More

This is a casual seafood resturant and market. You order, pay and fetch your own food but boy is it abundant and tasty. The seating area is small but roomy. The lobster was sweet, the smelt was perfect and they have the best clam chowder I've ever had. We are going back for lunch tomorrow. Excellent food, I didn't hear... More

Don't like fried? Then try the baked fish of whatever is fresh for the day...had to wait longer than the fried foods but we had some of the best halibut freshly caught...you can have the fries with it if you need something fried

Food was good, no waitress service, order at window, pour your own sodas. Very crowded. Had the single lobster and fisherman's platter all good but wouldn't give it 5 stars as that would be reserved for an upscale location. The sitting area is a knotty pine motif.

Location is great if you are visiting the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock. Service is pleasant, you go to the window just inside the entrance and give your order, pay and get a number. When your food I ready, they call your number, you go back to the window and pick it up. The food is on standard paper and plastic,... More

I've away went to a place down the road that was a lot more expensive. My wife's friend suggested this place. Since our first trip we were so impressed, we've been back a few times and never disappointed. It's not a traditional sit down restaurant, but I think if they tried to change that, it might not work anymore. Big... More

We visited this restaurant by chance last night. Our intention was to park our car and wander around until we found an interesting/appealing restaurant. However, as soon as we got out of the car it started raining so we headed for the nearest restaurant which was Wood's. It's on the waterfront which on a clear summer's evening would be very... More

This is a seafood market with fresh-off-the-boat seafood. It has a little room overlooking the water for dining as well. Go to the window & order. Wonderful fresh lobster & lobster rolls. Good choice for simple, super fresh seafood.
