my wife and I stopped here for lunch because of the reviews and we were quite disappointed. The fresh fish of the day was tuna and we were told that it could not be done rare! My wife opted for the sword fish, a reasonably large portion, but tasteless. I had the fried calamari which were greasy and also without... More

We just walked upon Woods. We decided to give it a try and it was a good decision! It was right on the water which made for a nice view. At the suggestion of the lady taking my order I had fish and grilled scallops both of which were delicious! Very greasy, but we enjoyed all that we had.

We ate at Wood's several times during our stay. As the other reviews have already said, you wait in line at the front and place your order, then go and try to find a table (they tend to fill up quickly, at least during the busy season). The food was tasty. There are self-serve refills on beverages, which is handy... More

Wood's seafood is a great combo of buy it fresh and cook it at home, or, have them cook up just what you want and more. Place your order and in several minutes here comes delicious seafood, fries onion rings and soft drinks. Yummy

Wood's Seafood is situated on the pier in Plymouth,MA. I've been here several times over the past 5 years. The fried clams are the best around and the fish and chips are great as well. Nothing fancy, just order at the counter and grab a seat. Highly recommended for fried foods. They also have baked seafood. Excellent !!

We always make this a must-stop when we come to Plymouth each year. The mouth-watering clam chowder, creamy, buttery, and loaded with tender clams, is to die for. Furthermore, the whole-bellied clams are the best we've ever eaten, and we've sampled a lot of them across New England. Wood's may not be fancy but it's got good food at reasonable... More

This place is amazing - down to earth, great food! The lobster is fresh and sweet, clam strips are tasty and succulent - the best I've ever had in New England. Make sure you order a cup of lobster bisque and the clam 'chowda' - honestly, you will not regret it. Come hungry - you'll leave happy!

At the end of the dock in Plymouth with views of the fishing and charter boats. The atmosphere is casual and the seafood is about as fresh as it gets. You order and pay at the window and return when they call your number. We had a couple of the fried fish choices which were cooked well and very good.... More

The best prices I found among Plymouth and Boston for great seafood. The lobster was as fresh as it gets, and the chowder was my favorite of anywhere we tried. If you're looking for "fine dining", this place isn't for you. The atmosphere is casual, and has a beautiful view of the water and fishing boats. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
