Don't go anywhere else for seafood in Plymouth

I stopped in to buy seafood for a casserole and ordered a fish sandwich to go as well. I am a local and will only go to Wood's for seafood. This restaurant is on the water if that matters to you. However, the freshest and tastiest seafood comes from this kitchen. Don't go anywhere else for... read more

Wasn't a big fan. Maybe just too much fried food. The lobster bisque was a disappointment, not a lot of flavor. The clams were good as were the crab cakes. Very busy when we were there. Had to stand in line, but once the food was ordered it didn't take too long to get it. Don't expect much in the... More

The fried calimari was the most tender we've ever had. I love calimari, but rarely order it, since it's often like chewy rubber bands. But these were tender, light and delicious. We also had bluefish, which again I hesitate to order since it's often to "fishy." But this was tender and tasty, but not too fishy. For sides, the only... More

Lobster roll and steamers we awesome!! worth the wait. be prepared to wait a bit to order, only one person taking order and the money! might have to wait for a table too, but....the food was great. Fried whole belly clams were VERY disappointing....just bits of clams, not whole...oh well.

Came on an extract hot day which is hard due to you have to sit in the deck with no breeze. But, the food is fantastic! Lobsta roll was one of the best I've had. Worth your time to stop.

I always like to go here for a quick order of fried clams, scallops or fish. Today I went for the scallop and fish combo plate with rice. Market price is $16 for this right now, but you get enough that you can't eat it all in one sitting. I find the food to be a bit greasy. I don't... More

I ordered the lobster roll. I like mine with butter not mayo. They will do it which ever way you would like. You get an overflowing grilled hot dog roll with lettuce under the lobster. I just pulled the 2 pieces of lettuce out. The cost was $16.07 with tax. I took mine to go and sat outside to watch... More

Based on the wonderful location and beautiful view of the bay, we expected to enjoy fresh, tasty, seafood. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service and the food. We gave our order at the front counter and asked the girl if the clams on the menu were the Ipswich clams with the tails. The girl acted like I had two... More
