GREAT LOBSTER

We had 2 single lobster dinners and order of fried clam strips. Everything was delicious. Very casual dining, order at the counter and food is ready in a short amount of time. Good value.

This place sits right on the water, it is not fancy, but they have great food. I had the grilled swordfish, and it was so good. It came with fries and slaw. The fries were hot, but the catchup tasted funny. Not badly priced but I think they should offer different sides as I don't like fries or slaw.

With a myriad of seafood shacks and restaurants on the docks at Plymouth, all with spectacular views and outside dining, we picked Wood's Seafood for lunch. Plymouth and Wood's were very crowded as it was not a beach day but the wather was fine for visiting Plymouth and seeing the sights. At Wood's you place your order at a counter,... More

We live nearby and are used to good seafood. This is nothing but a tourist trap with $$$$ all over it. The lobster roll absolutely was a joke with poor presentation to boot. They get 2 stars just because the fried clams were OK. The tarter sauce lacked any relish and spices too....how do you screw up tarter sauce? We... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Woods. Its fun, order at the counter get drinks and the food comes out in 10-15 mins. or so. Had some very good crab cakes, a good cup of clam chowder, also enjoyed were fish and chips with a good cold beer.

After 3 years in MA, lobster and fish shacks are losing their charm for me. I'd prefer to trade off the authenticity for fewer flies and less patina of filth. The fresh faced young lady who waited on me yesterday had such a filthy shirt on it should have been quarantined as a bio-hazard. I had the haddock. Not my... More

It's not a fancy place but they have the freshest and best prices for a seafood on the Plymouth waterfront bar none. Others are overpriced soggy greasy and not as good.

There are tables inside the restaurant and some benches outside, but this is basically a seafood stand. You stand in line, order some food, wait for it, and then find a seat. There are the normal selections of fried seafood and steamed clams/lobsters. There are also cheeseburgers and hot dogs for kids that dislike seafood. This was the first time... More
