This was the first time I had clam chowder on a 9 day trip through New England. I tasted about 5 others, and this was the best by far! The fish and chips was also great. Fresh and right out of the kitchen. It is a stand in line and order...then go back to pick up kind of place. But... More

Read the reviews and decided this was where to go for fried clams. It had been 30 years since I was in New England and enjoyed whole belly clams. When the huge plate arrived, I was thrilled. When I put the first one in my mouth, I was in love all over again. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting... More

I may be a little biased after visiting Wood's on a weekly basis for the greater part of my existence yet I'd like to think I am able to give this restaurant a 5 star rating due to its authenticity. A decade had passed since I visited Plymouth but Wood's remained the same. There aren't too many places you can... More

Probably the freshest fish and chips we have ever eaten. Shame they could not provide a plastic knife to go with the fork. Why not guys, your too good not to?

Woods seafood has the freshest fish and seafood in the downtown area. They sell both cooked and uncooked seafood. Portion sizes are more then I expected.

Stopped in to try this restaurant on Plymouth Harbour last weekend. It was cold and rainy outside but that did not stop tons of customers from coming in. I ordered the Baked Haddock, and asked for rice instead of fries. The Haddock was outstanding. A very generous piece, deliciously seasoned, delicate and tasty. Living in Floridal, I don't get fresh... More

Lots of fried food. Dive atmosphere. Lobster was sweet but not very tender. Fried shrimp was good. Rest of our order was average.

We ate here for both dinner and lunch. It's a great value place and the lobster was incredibly fresh and very sweet. The shells were also easy to crack. No need to pay tips to servers because you order and pick up your food at the check in counter. The place was packed with patrons for both meals but we... More
