Been a couple of years and still great

Found this place a couple of years ago and fell in love. Back in town for the 4th and had to check it out again. Hasn't changed! Less than 10 bucks for a clam strips and fries that are falling off the plate. And the clams are melt in your mouth fantastic! Do yourself a favor, drive a little... read more

Do not go there. It is the most horrible experience of my life in 60 years. The food is outrageously expensive and it was so hot. No showers at the bath house working. It was busy, but I hated every minute I was there. I jumped on the next bus and went to ziggys on the waterfront.

We escaped to this spot while staying at motel down the street (Pilgrim Sands Hotel). Was very nice to discover this sweet little snack bar on a sandy beach that we could actually access. This is not a fancy place. Place your order at the window, order a drink and sit either inside the open air snack bar or a... More

Do you like the beach? Do you like fried food? Do you like sitting outside with a drink? The foods excellent, portions are large and prices are low. Bar staff are great. Nice spot to spend a few relaxing summer hours.

The restaurant/bar is on the beach. A local favorite and the seafood is great. It's not fancy, but who wants that on a hot summer day in shorts and flip flops? Totally fun. Be prepared to wait - but it is worth it.

Sandy, the owner, gave my Mom a gift certificate to visit her restaurant upon hearing of my Dad's passing. Mom and Dad used to go to Sandy's for many years together and they had formed a friendly relationship with Sandy, the owner. This should tell you that Sandy truly cares about her customers. And this transcends to how she approaches... More

Right on the beach, this seaside joint has some of the best clam chowder we tasted during our week-long vacation. It also has a bar and an ATM (cash-only!). We also dined on fried clams, coleslaw, fries and a glass of really weak zin. Avoid the wine - go for the hard stuff! Sadly, we heard Sandy's is closing down... More

We walked over here soon after we arrived at Pilgrim Sands Hotel. We could order fairly quickly (cash only) and got one of the last free tables in the tent (at about 6:30) but the food took longer to arrive than I had hoped. My wife and I both enjoyed a cold Yuengling beer while we waited. She thought her... More

This lobster roll - stuffed full of lobster meat - would satisfy two people. The roll was toasted and the lobster was on a minimal of lettuce. Not alot of mayo and no celery - yay! It was accompanied by french fries which were heavy tasting. Although I had been very hungry, the portions were so huge I left half... More

We had dinner here at the suggestion of locals and it proved to be exactly as they said--good food, reasonable prices, very casual and no credit cards.
