We visited 42 degrees north while on our way to visit Plimoth Plantation. Outside of downtown Plymouth that is very crowded and has only limited parking, there are few options, yet this turned out to be an excellent choice. The weather was good so we were able to dine outside. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was very... More

We found this to be sadly lacking in offering a good experience well I did anyway. My husband had a good seafood linguini, he really enjoyed it. I ordered a clam chowder which looked good and tasted poor. It was all cream and no clams, well two bits of clams to be precise and one piece of potato. It was... More

42 degrees is located south of Plymouth Center in Manomet village. Ample seating to include recently added deck with outdoor bar. Patrons dress casually. Portions are usually large, you won't leave hungry. Prices are reasonable (avg dinner <$25). Parking should be readily available with designated overflow area. Consider making a reservation on Friday/Saturday during summertime. Brunch with carving station is... More

Went on a Friday night with friends, and had a great meal. The special was striped bass, and it was delicious! Friends ordered the paella and the short ribs, and they both agreed that the food was good. Great atmosphere, and a great patio bar. A little too cool to sit out there that night, but we'll be back!

My wife and I had supper here after a long day of touring and this was so worthwhile. From the focaccio bread and dip at the start through my striped bass, which was the bets I've ever had at a restaurant, to the shared Key Lime pie/tart for dessert, this was a great place to dine. My wife had a... More

Enjoyed an outdoor table on the deck last night. Began with a shrimp cocktail which my wife and I shared....extensive wine and cocktail list. I enjoyed a Shiraz and my wife sipped on a well portioned lemon drop martini. As an appetizer, we enjoyed five jumbo, succulent shrimp with spicy cocktail sauce and lemon wedges. Entrees were Mac and cheese.....huge... More

if you don't want to deal with the traffic and crowds downtown, this place is away from all that, and a great place to eat. Big outdoor seating area, and very nice interior. Only complaint was the beer list was not up to date. A few of my choices were no longer available. Minor stuff. Otherwise, excellent

After taking a scenic drive along route 3A to Scusset Beach at the canal, we drove back to 42 Degrees North restaurant that we saw along the drive. We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious meal. I had the Atlantic char special with the stuffed acorn squash- out of this world! My husband enjoyed the shrimp duo. Service was fine,... More

We stopped in for lunch after driving by numerous times and seeing the place packed. The decor is modern and inviting. There is a terrace area nicely done and many were out there as it was a perfect weather day. The service was prompt and friendly. I had the turkey, bacon, avocado wrap with sweet potato fries. The turkey and... More

We've visited this restaurant two times and it was great! A big assortment of fresh seafood and fish, meat (I recommend the steaks) and salads. The location with the cosy terrace is also nice. The portions are huge and might be a bit too much for some (starters should be shared)!
