I came here for dinner with my husband and mother-in-law after reading the other reviews and hearing what the Andelman brothers on Phantom Gourmet (local restaurant show) had to say, we thought we would go here for dinner. Food and service was excellent. We started with an anti-pasto for an appetizer, which was very good and fresh. I had the... More

Our new favorite restaurant. We have tried practically everything on the menus and have never had a bad meal. In fact, all the food is fantastic!! Cocktails are always great. The mussels are the best! Braised short ribs are one of my favorites!

we have been to 42 degrees several times, recommended this restaurant and given gift certificates to friends and family. we had noticed the previous time we dined at 42 degrees it seemed to have gone downhill, yet still wanted to give it another go. I ordered seared scallops that were sooo salty I couldn't eat them...the waitress offered to have... More

Excellent food and great service. The steak tips and halibut were delicious! The atmosphere is great, food is excellent and the portions are generous. We will be back.

My girlfriends and I take a trip to Plymouth every January for our annual "Girl's Weekend". We were very pleased that we chose this restaurant for our Saturday night out. We would normally call to make reservations since there were 6 in our party but we decided to just walk in and have a drink at the bar if we... More

Great food and a really attractive restaurant. Love the fish tanks. My husband and I had the braised boneless beef short ribs and they were fantastic. My favorite of the night was the antipasto appetizer, next time I may have that as my entrée. We had six in our party and everyone was pleased with service and the meals, we... More

I was entertaining a Canadian travel writer for lunch yesterday and 42 Degrees North in the Manomet section of Plymouth MA was a convenient location from where she was staying. Being after Thanksgiving in the Plymouth area, restaurants are seldom crowded and 42 Degrees North being about 5 miles from the center of America's Hometown means it's a place more... More

We had a group of ten for dinner. The portions were enormous, but the taste not really very good. Service was erratic. I had several lunches there last year, which were outstanding. The place seems to have gone downhill. The fish wasn't very good, possibly not fresh enough. We won't be back.

We ate here on Thanksgiving. Usually holidays tend to make things chaotic at restaurants but not here. If things go this smoothly on a busy holiday I can not wait to see how nice they are on a regular day! I can not wait to go back! We had turkey for lunch and had made reservations here for dinner so... More

It is a spacious, light filled restaurant. Quite open. This might work a little against it for dinner, but is fine for lunch. Nice outside deck for the good weather. Great menu, some different items to choose from, this makes it an easy place to go to regularly.. Generous portions, good prices, great wait staff. Fantastic fish tank!!
