I tend not to place a high value on restaurants unless it is warranted but 42 Degrees is exceptional. First the parking is free and close to a major highway and fairly easy to find. There could be some more waiting space but not an issue. We go there because of the food selections, the quality of the menu items,... More

We called for reservations but were told they don't take reservations for under 6 people. We went anyway and put our names on the waiting list. We definitely felt were being snubbed in favor of "favorite patron" who came in after us and were being seated ahead of us. None were in parties of 8! When we were finally seated,... More

The broiled scallops were perfect and served with lobster rositto. The rositto had chunks of lobster in it. The prime rib was huge! It came with potatoes and choice of vegetables. Entrees were in 20s. We were pleased and would return. Service was attentive.

I will start out by saying that I eat out on average 3 times a week just because of my work schedule. Mostly in Boston but living on the South Shore I do get to local restaurants as well. I was so impressed by 42 Degrees North. I get tired of seeing the same fish on menus everywhere...swordfish, salmon, haddock,... More

We visited 42 degrees north while on our way to visit Plimoth Plantation. Outside of downtown Plymouth that is very crowded and has only limited parking, there are few options, yet this turned out to be an excellent choice. The weather was good so we were able to dine outside. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was very... More

We found this to be sadly lacking in offering a good experience well I did anyway. My husband had a good seafood linguini, he really enjoyed it. I ordered a clam chowder which looked good and tasted poor. It was all cream and no clams, well two bits of clams to be precise and one piece of potato. It was... More

42 degrees is located south of Plymouth Center in Manomet village. Ample seating to include recently added deck with outdoor bar. Patrons dress casually. Portions are usually large, you won't leave hungry. Prices are reasonable (avg dinner <$25). Parking should be readily available with designated overflow area. Consider making a reservation on Friday/Saturday during summertime. Brunch with carving station is... More

Went on a Friday night with friends, and had a great meal. The special was striped bass, and it was delicious! Friends ordered the paella and the short ribs, and they both agreed that the food was good. Great atmosphere, and a great patio bar. A little too cool to sit out there that night, but we'll be back!
