The dirt road was the best part!

We were staying at the nearby Mirabeau resort and had reservations for their Bistro for dinner but when checking in the women recommended this ye old place for foodies. Yes for foodies who want tiny portions and mediocre food. The salads were bizarre as we tried the salad with stuffing and... read more

The Ye Olde tavern is very charming and aesthetic but beware of the 1/4 mile dirt road that is in severe disrepair, unless you want to exercise your SUV. Our casual lunch was inexpensive yet was disappointing based upon our expectations. The grilled cheese had a sliver of cheese between thick slices of toast, yet both the duck sausage wrap... More

I have dined at the exquisite Rye Tavern on several different occasions, and each time, I am thoroughly delighted with the ambiance, the food, the wine list, and the sense of service that the staff exhibits! Summer/early fall dining on the patio, seated around the fire was truly a memorable time, yet I have enjoyed eating a late night dinner... More

We have enjoyed going to the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, for a date night, and with our kids. So far, with very few exceptions, we have enjoyed our meals here. The wine list is great. We will definitely be back. Make sure you get a reservation, they are often booked!

My husband, myself and a friend ate here in November for dinner. I decided to go based on Trip Advisor reviews and I had seen this restaurant featured on Phantom Gourmet. The restaurant is warm and cozy but hard to find, my Garmin got us there with very few problems. We shared an appetizer of baby clams which was very... More

I always have theCaesar salad and burger(medium rare) and my husband gets a bowl of chowder (amazing) and the shrimp omelette. Michael is so great, very professional and very informative. always... Ate here with a bunch of friends. Drinks were good, appetizers were good, clam chowder was GREAT. Main course left a little to be desired, at least for me. I got the veal chop and it was a bit fatty. Two others at the table got the same and they didn't fuss over it, so maybe I got the unlucky... More

This is very nice restaurant. All four of us agreed that our meals were excellent, and very well prepared. The clam chowder was very tasty with whole clams. Burger, eggs, and drinks were all great. The service by Jessica was outstanding.

Ever since moving back from England I've been looking for those rare pubs that actually remind me of a local. Driving down the dirt road leading to Rye, walking up the old granite stairs, and into a bar warmed by a roaring wood fire transported me back to the English countryside. The menu was mouthwatering and made choosing difficult. The... More
