Good food, lovely atmosphere!!

We ate here with our kids to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We dressed smart/casuale, as the restuarant was originally a pub, so we knew not to wear our ballgowns and tiaras. The food was very good. To start we had the farm eggs, brussel sprouts and the clam chowder. All were great!! Then as... read more

Cute little place with historic significance. Great food. They use lots of local produce.. You can sit outside in the summer and in the winter you can sit by a cozy fireplace

We ate here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were notified about our cause for celebration at the time the reservation was made. However, when we arrived they did not acknowledge our anniversary and we were seated at a loud table next to a door with visibility to the kitchen and a family with young kids. We asked to... More

This was the best meal we had in Plymouth. It's a beautiful drive to get to Rye Tavern, the building is pretty, the surroundings verdant and lush. It's a little loud inside, but nicely decorated. Delicious bread basket, nice entrees. Menu was eclectic and interesting - I had a tough time deciding! The tavern stew (with brisket and flank steak)... More

Had a chance to try Rye Tavern for lunch. As expected, the tavern is decorated like a tavern. Clean, reasonable distance between tables. Service was fine although offering a refill on coffee is always appreciated and missing at my lunch. Cost is reasonable and outdoor dining looked delightful but too cold on the day of visit.

The wife and I made some reservations and ended up being really glad we found this incredible farm to table restaurant. The service was very good, informative and prompt while not being intrusive. The scallops my wife had were great, and I enjoyed a perfectly cooked lamb steak. Great place for foodies.

Love the ambiance of Rye Tavern but the menu is limited. I had scallops and very disappointed in the preparation and strong flavors of spices in the dish. However, the clam chowder was very good and loved the fried clams. Will go back for the chowder.

We were very excited to try the Rye Tavern known for its farm to table specialties. Service was wonderful: our server, Colleen was attentive, did not rush us, and did not try to push additional dishes or upsells. Drinks were tasty and fairly priced. The clam chowder was excellent, small scoop of bacon mashed potates and deep fried clams as... More

Great restaurant for date night. The farm to table menu selection changes with the seasons. In the summer the outside bar is perfect for a glass of wine under the stars

Reserved a table for four at this well-known tavern recently, and had a fine meal. The scallops were superb and the beet salad was also good, though the beets were so thin that they were awkward to eat. I was able to order it without the nut-based dressing. Another in our party ordered a special coffee which came lukewarm and... More
