In these days of GPS wayfinding, this was fairly easy to find. It is probably easier to travel on highway 3 to avoid some gravel roads. The chef-prepared food was excellent, menu well-suited to varied tastes, and the tavern boasted inside and garden dining. There was live music (excellent singer) when we were there and a quiet, congenial crowd. Highly... More

My daughter who was visiting wanted to try Rye Tavern. Noticed they are now open a few days for lunch and while we would have preferred to go for dinner as their lunch menu is basic lunch fare...lunch was the only option with her schedule. Rye Tavern is certainly a nice setting, especially this time of year. We ate outside... More

This restaurant is off the beaten path but well worth finding. From the minute you enter the restaurant the staff is very friendly. It's not a big place but they have an outside bar which is great. The food was terrific and everything was extremely fresh.

Tonight's meal at the Rye Tavern was the worst I have ever had. If this had been the first time eating here I would not go back. The Bibb salad , while decent, was not worth $9. I ordered the chicken because of the rather funky entree choices. The chicken was undercooked and no flavor. It sat on an overwhelming... More

Always great food and service. Love that the menu changes regularly and is farm to table (backyard in fact). Beautiful field to boot!

Unique food, lovely patio, delicious cocktails and friendly staff made for a wonderful Saturday afternoon lunch. In two weeks an additional patio with a raw bar and fire pit will be opening. Make a reservation and enjoy!

Our first visit to Rye Tavern was quite enjoyable. The restaurant is small in size, so make sure you make a reservation before going. The appetizers were unusual, using seasonal foods, and good portions. We had the brussel sprouts and beet bisque, which we would go back for again. The tuna special was good, but the appetizers are what we... More

I love this place! Staff was friendly and accommodating, food was delicious and you can't beat the location. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Cocktails were delicious and interesting. Can't wait to go back!

The setting and restaurant itself was lovely. I was excited the try it for my 40th birthday dinner as I had heard good things. However, the meal was average. I dont mind paying for a nice meal if I get what I pay for but in this case it was average food for not average prices.

Over rated, over priced. While ambiance was nice and service good, dinner was the worst I've ever had at a restaurant and I've been in some great ones. I had the "special" Black Baked Cod served over a white bean-tomato side dish. Food was pretentiously served (probably to disguise how bad it was). The fish was dried out and barely... More
