Cozy Spot

Great restaurant for date night. The farm to table menu selection changes with the seasons. In the summer the outside bar is perfect for a glass of wine under the stars

We were very excited to try the Rye Tavern known for its farm to table specialties. Service was wonderful: our server, Colleen was attentive, did not rush us, and did not try to push additional dishes or upsells. Drinks were tasty and fairly priced. The clam chowder was excellent, small scoop of bacon mashed potates and deep fried clams as... More

Reserved a table for four at this well-known tavern recently, and had a fine meal. The scallops were superb and the beet salad was also good, though the beets were so thin that they were awkward to eat. I was able to order it without the nut-based dressing. Another in our party ordered a special coffee which came lukewarm and... More

This restaurant used to be an old stagecoach shop. I feel the food although excellent, was a bit pricey. I myself would only go here for a special occasion. I only had breakfast.

We had the new Winter menu and our server didn't give us much guidance. We had a few good dishes (scallops!) but we thought the butternut brulee appetizer(or something like that) was not good at all. A rare thing that we didn't finish.

The food was great. All seasonal options. Don't let the name fool you. This is not a "pub" with traditional bar food. Very cozy. Everything is homemade except the french fries and the burger rolls.

Went with a group of ten, the tavern is cozy and charming. The food was excellent and the menu is always changing. Staff was great and we had an awesome waitress. Worth the trip there and planning on going back again to sit outside on the patio.

We were staying at the nearby Mirabeau resort and had reservations for their Bistro for dinner but when checking in the women recommended this ye old place for foodies. Yes for foodies who want tiny portions and mediocre food. The salads were bizarre as we tried the salad with stuffing and chocolate...interesting. I ordered the scallops...for $23 I got three... The Ye Olde tavern is very charming and aesthetic but beware of the 1/4 mile dirt road that is in severe disrepair, unless you want to exercise your SUV. Our casual lunch was inexpensive yet was disappointing based upon our expectations. The grilled cheese had a sliver of cheese between thick slices of toast, yet both the duck sausage wrap... More

I have dined at the exquisite Rye Tavern on several different occasions, and each time, I am thoroughly delighted with the ambiance, the food, the wine list, and the sense of service that the staff exhibits! Summer/early fall dining on the patio, seated around the fire was truly a memorable time, yet I have enjoyed eating a late night dinner... More
