Set out on the edge of Plymouth in the pines and down a dirt road, it has to be good or no one would come to visit. Fresh greens grown in the garden accent the Nouvelle Cuisine served in this delightful colonial era tavern. Do not miss the Live Music on the patio.

Rye Tavern was recommended to us as being a farm-to-table restaurant, which it is! We were seated right away at an outdoor table. The service was a little off, I think. Server very nice but the dishes were not fully described on the menu or by him. My friend got the eggplant and it had a spicy sauce on it... More

We've been here a number of times and the ambiance of this old, historic stage coach stop is wonderful for a special meal. During the summer, they have patio seating overlooking the woods. When traveling there, be prepared to pass "all the way" by the Pine Hills development, and to turn on to the "Old Sandwich" dirt road to get... More

My wife and I went here on the fly and got the table top seat near the bar, which was great given the fact that the place was hopping and the wait for a table was an hour. Given the expense of the cocktails, I was expecting a little more punch but they were very watered down and unimpressive. Small... More

We ate here with our kids to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We dressed smart/casuale, as the restuarant was originally a pub, so we knew not to wear our ballgowns and tiaras. The food was very good. To start we had the farm eggs, brussel sprouts and the clam chowder. All were great!! Then as entrees we had the burger, the... More

Cute little place with historic significance. Great food. They use lots of local produce.. You can sit outside in the summer and in the winter you can sit by a cozy fireplace

We ate here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were notified about our cause for celebration at the time the reservation was made. However, when we arrived they did not acknowledge our anniversary and we were seated at a loud table next to a door with visibility to the kitchen and a family with young kids. We asked to... More

This was the best meal we had in Plymouth. It's a beautiful drive to get to Rye Tavern, the building is pretty, the surroundings verdant and lush. It's a little loud inside, but nicely decorated. Delicious bread basket, nice entrees. Menu was eclectic and interesting - I had a tough time deciding! The tavern stew (with brisket and flank steak)... More

Had a chance to try Rye Tavern for lunch. As expected, the tavern is decorated like a tavern. Clean, reasonable distance between tables. Service was fine although offering a refill on coffee is always appreciated and missing at my lunch. Cost is reasonable and outdoor dining looked delightful but too cold on the day of visit.
