Good lunch, decent cocktail selection

Ate lunch here as part of large family group. The calamari appetizer was very good the boneless chicken wing were appropriately spicy (personally not a fan of boneless wings) and the corn crab chowder was good if not great. The sandwich menu was varied and interesting. I liked my grilled chicken... read more

While visiting Plymouth this past weekend my wife and I had dinner at this busy mall restaurant. We opened with calamari in a spicy marinara. It was ok,no better or worse than others I've had.Next my wife had the Cod wrapped in bacon served over couscous. The fish was well cooked and the bacon lent a smoky taste that was pleasant. The couscous... I came over here for dinner one evening during a business trip. I was by myself that evening. Their version of the Dark and Stormy was unusual but refreshing. They had a special on oysters that evening, so I had a dozen raw. They tasted to be of very good quality. The yellow fin seared tuna over wasabi mashed potatoes... More

Alden Park Bar & Grill - Plymouth, MA - 5/12/2015 White Cheddar Focaccia Bread house-made butter. Served just above room temperature and quite good... I would have preferred the butter a bit more softened but at least it not butter packets... Next up... Griller romaine hearts with chunks of bacon, roasted cherry tomatoes, shaved parmesan cheese and bleu cheese dressing... More

The place is sorta small but usually always busy. They also use "open table". They have a discount bar food menu at the bar. The fried pickles are wicked awesome. The photo is of my empty plate. The sweet potato chips are yummy too. The restaurant is tucked in a very busy strip mall area. Lots of free parking. We... More

My husband and I went to Alden Park last night, on recommendation of a local. We ate at the bar and this is a great establishment.. I got lettuce wraps and were the best I've ever had. My husband got a crab cake app with a burger and thought both were Awesome. The bar staff were very friendly and upbeat.... More

We were on our way back to Boston and stopped by Alden Park. Nice, knowledgeable bartender , good wine list by the glass and simple menu. Food was fresh and good. We will go back for sure if we are in town.

Went to Alden Park for the first time tonight, and it was great! Great atmosphere - subdued lighting, and nice seating. We ordered the calamari appetizer, which had rock shrimp and a great sauce. We both had the roasted cod with pumpkin risotto. The fish was very fresh. Also had an Alden Park coffee for dessert. Yum! Will definitely keep... More

I was looking for a "new" spot to try as it is very easy to fall into a pattern of eating at the same places. After a Google search and reading some reviews I settled on Alden Park. The restaurant is very nice - atmosphere and decor. The place was bustling so I was happy to have reservations. The steak... More
