I have been to Tuscany Tavern about 3 times in the last year and always enjoy the experience. It's definitely the best Italian restaurant in the Plymouth area , very good basic home made Italian fare in a very intimate atmosphere. To be fair I have to say that sometimes the food experience can be inconsistent, I'm not sure why... More

Second visit this summer and once again had a fantastic meal! Started with the caprese salad, delicious. I had the pasta special with a pesto cream sauce-amazing. My boyfriend had the veal and eggplant with tomato sauce which was recommended by our excellent server Mark. Best tomato sauce I think I've ever had. Wine prices are very reasonable as are... More

We just returned home from this restaurant - have driven by it for years and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint !!! Had the soup of the day - pea and ham in a flavorful broth. Rustic bread served with an infused evoo for dipping. Hubby had the veal stuffed with prosciutto, spinach and fontina, I... More

After calling to reserve a table for 4 at 8pm and arriving at 7:30 to make sure we got a table, they gave our table away after waiting 1 hr and 10 min. It was my wife's 30th birthday and the funeral mass of her grandmother. The hostess was a completely unaware of the order of guests. Because of their... More

This tiny place with an open kitchen is a bit of a drive outside of the town center, but it's totally worth it. Our server (who I'm pretty sure was the owner or co-owner) was warm and friendly and gave great service, and the food was phenomenal -- so good that although we were going to skip dessert, we couldn't... This tiny Italian restaurant is small in size but huge on it's delivery of the best Italian food anywhere. The inside is comfortable and service is exceptional. There is nothing like getting steaming hot food that is so good you won't want to stop eating it.

Felt like I was back in Italy. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Mark, our Server was excellent, great knowledge of menu. We took his recommendation and ordered a special, Steak pizzaiola. It was delicious, the sauce had so many flavors going through it, I will be thinking about it until we return. The pea soup, also a special was not the traditional... More

We read the reviews and decided to have dinner. We were not disappointed! Great sangria, delicious wine - generous pour. Food was delicious as was the desert! We heard great comments about the food other patrons were enjoying. Service was also very good!

This restaurant is very very small (less than 30 seats). They do not have a full bar - only wine and cordials. HOWEVER, the food is amazing. We were totally impressed with the open kitchen and variety of truly gourmet food that was delivered to our table. From appetizers to desserts, each plate was work of art and tasted delicious.... The food, prepared by the energetic cook in the open kitchen, was excellent. But the bill was something else: it started off with the desert menu not listing any prices and the waitress claiming not to know them, but assuring us that none were more then $6.00. Well, the sorbet was billed at 6.50, one entre was billed $1 more... More
