This tiny place with an open kitchen is a bit of a drive outside of the town center, but it's totally worth it. Our server (who I'm pretty sure was the owner or co-owner) was warm and friendly and gave great service, and the food was phenomenal -- so good that although we were going to skip dessert, we couldn't... This tiny Italian restaurant is small in size but huge on it's delivery of the best Italian food anywhere. The inside is comfortable and service is exceptional. There is nothing like getting steaming hot food that is so good you won't want to stop eating it.

Felt like I was back in Italy. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Mark, our Server was excellent, great knowledge of menu. We took his recommendation and ordered a special, Steak pizzaiola. It was delicious, the sauce had so many flavors going through it, I will be thinking about it until we return. The pea soup, also a special was not the traditional... More

We read the reviews and decided to have dinner. We were not disappointed! Great sangria, delicious wine - generous pour. Food was delicious as was the desert! We heard great comments about the food other patrons were enjoying. Service was also very good!

This restaurant is very very small (less than 30 seats). They do not have a full bar - only wine and cordials. HOWEVER, the food is amazing. We were totally impressed with the open kitchen and variety of truly gourmet food that was delivered to our table. From appetizers to desserts, each plate was work of art and tasted delicious.... The food, prepared by the energetic cook in the open kitchen, was excellent. But the bill was something else: it started off with the desert menu not listing any prices and the waitress claiming not to know them, but assuring us that none were more then $6.00. Well, the sorbet was billed at 6.50, one entre was billed $1 more... More

The food was terrific. The wait staff friendly. It's a little place with not many tables which makes it a quaint restaurant. I suggest reservations.

In a small unprepossessing restaurant on a boring main street in North Plymouth we found the best italian food we've ever had outside Italy. Share the starter, because it is large, and save enough space for the excellent choice of main courses. Must be the best restaurant in Plymouth. Do not be seduced by the lure of the waterfront but... Ever since new owner Lou brought in new chef Jeremiah a couple of years ago we come in at least once a week. From the appetizers to the desserts, and everything in between, the creations that are served are second to none. We bring friends in that are self described "foodies" and "food snobs" that can't believe what comes out... More

My boyfriend and I spent the day in Plymouth visiting the various sites. At the end of the day we consulted TripAdvisor for a good restaurant. Tuscany Tavern had delicious food, friendly staff, wonderful ambience and reasonable prices. We look forward to returning there again soon and highly recommend this restaurant to others.
