really great comfort food. though mostly vegetarian , they had a meatloaf special one time that was really fanatastic. the salad is so good and could be a meal by itself . desserts are just ok and rarely have room for them . best to be downstairs - its like watching a show. great value too

When making dinner reservations for our ski trip to Jiminy Peak this year, my husband and I knew that this was the one place we wanted to return to for dinner. Elizabeth's (once again) did not disappoint. The food is so flavorful and well-executed. It is like the most delicious version of your mom's home cooking. The only "complaint" I... More

Close to perfection! Local to north adams, in the mood for something different so took a drive out to pittsfield. After a half hour of sifting through reviews and bellies growling made the last minute choice of going to elizabeths after seeing it's very good rating. The outside was promising with a rainbow peace flag waving us welcome. On the... More

We were two minutes from their location. WOW what a wonderful evening with superb food. Someone else wrote a wonderful review. I will "ditto" that. They said... More

Last night I had to be in Pittsfield for an early event and wanted to have a quiet dinner by myself to prepare. I read the reviews of Elizabeth's as I wanted something yummy and saw it was open at 5. I didn't see it as I drove by around 4:40 and my GPS said it was on the left,... More

Food and service is very good. Good casual. Located in a bright blue house down the block from Mark Belanger Field. Tom the owner is very personable and has been known to mingle with the customers. The fruit and vegetables served are purchased that day from the local markets in town and they certainly taste it. The house salad which... More

Lavender! This is listed as an ingredient in their eggplant! I had to try it. It is called Eggplant Provencal -- a French kick in a largely Italian menu. And it was so savory and wonderful , a simple recipe yielding a beautiful complexity. My boyfriend had a pasta dish with carmelized onions and mushrooms. He loved it. Dinners are... More

This was going to be our second trip to Elizabeth's. We made reservations for our 38th anniversary and brought a friend. We sat down, ordered a lovely bottle of chiani, and were perusing the menu, when our friend did not feel well, long story short - emt's were called, our friend was fine, but we were unable to stay for...
