Nice, safe Italian fare.

We sat at the bar on a Tuesday night as the tables seemed relatively full. We were attended immediately and I personally enjoyed the locals chatting about the Sox. Atmosphere was very friendly. Dinner was also very good. Somewhat creative Italian with the basics down to a science. Cavatelli... read more

My family was recommended to try Mazzeo's while we were up in Pittsfield visiting my daughter at camp. We were glad to have made a reservation as even though it was only 5:30 on a Saturday night, the place was packed! Service was slow and a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. The portions were big and we... More

Went for a drink and sat in the bar area at a high top. While I do like the food usually I couldn't get past the mosquitos biting. It seems the door off the bar goes outside and people can drink out there. Sounds great, but it was a hot night and with the door opening and closing tons of... More

our server was great and the food did come out fast, but the kitchen missed the mark. first the calamari is not fresh it is some processed product and the rings might have been as big as a nickel across - we ate them but should have been concerned. note to the chef bolognese sauce is usually red not pink and... If you are hungry for Italian food, this restaurant is typical Italian in many ways: the portions are very large (most of the guests were bringing home packaged leftovers), and the place is huge with several dining rooms, and reservations were recommended as the place is most often packed during the summer. The service was good and the wine selection... More

This is a busy, noisy restaurant, but the service was friendly and efficient. Three out of four entrees were judged very good. The fourth entrée was meat lasagna which was heavy and should have had more sauce. All the portions were large. It was a shame that we were traveling and could not take the leftovers home.

Had a great dinner here with my husband and friend. The service was excellent even though it's a large restaurant and was quite busy. We all enjoyed our meals immensely .I had the best Shrimp Risotto ever! Don't miss this restaurant if you're in the Berkshires!

We were a party of six, coming together after driving in from various points, meeting in Williamastown. We were in a rush because we had a last-minute theater deadline to meet. So we walked in without a reservation on a busy Friday evening in mid-July. Somehow they made room for us and seated us quickly, took our orders, and delivered... More

Although the food was ok, the large noisy room, did not enhance the dining experience. The service was robotic, perhaps because there were not enough staff to accomodate the large crowd. There were many large tables of private parties, and a tour bus was parked outside. I did not appreciate looking at trays of empty dishes, left standing nearby, while... More

We were in the area on a Sunday night and we're having trouble finding a place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The food was very good and our waitress was very attentive. I highly recommend this place!
