The prices were alittle steep. I had eggs and toast it was just fare the toast was soggy. I like this place just think it needs to be updated big time.

After searching Tripadvisor and, yes, a few other sources, we finally decided to try this restaurant as a last resort. The reviews of other establishments offering fried clams was dismal at best. Every reviewer of late said their biggest complaint was the serving size being delivered at nearby eateries. Having eaten at the Century House before, we entered through the... More

The servers are helpful and friendly. And the seatings are roomy and comfortable. The food is not that good. The shrimp scampi we had was the worse compare with the restaurants we had tried in the nearby area. The other dishes we ordered were just average.

The menu is large and offers all the various types of seafood in this north of Boston restaurant. Should you not like fried haddock, clams, shrimp or scallops, you can have them broiled or baked. Meat and pasta are also served. Not hungry, try keno.

Yesterday was our first time at the Century House. It was a very nice experience. It is a great restaurant for all of the comfort foods. I loved how they served us ice water along with crackers and dip while we were looking over the menus, perfect for picking and curbing your hunger just enough to focus! We enjoyed their... More

I have been to the Century House many times and have never had a bad meal. Personal favorite is the Yankee Pot Roast. If you like to grill steak tip you have to go to the Epicurean Shoppe for the marinated tips. Outstanding. I think the Century House has been there since 114 was a dirt road. It has to... More

Went there with my family for dinner. Waitress was so unfriendly..food was soon bland. And to top it off..my credit card was used for another couple's bill. I was there for over two hours. I was charged twice with a promise that they would take care of it. The poor soul next to me was charged 3 times. After they... More

This experience was probably as average as you could get... I don't have anything bad to say, but can't really come up with anything to compliment - so give them a shot, but just don't expect to be 'wowwed'

This restaurant has old-fashioned flair, no wonder how popular this place is among people of the golden age. Simple, fresh and generous food, for my taste too old-fashioned. It was good experience, however waitress could talk too much and easily mixed up all your orders, but they are old friends with patrons and nobody was upset except of us (because... More

It had been 6 months or so since I had been able to go. The sticky buns are so good. I ordered the prime rib as it is my favorite. Had to order is medium well for health reason even though I prefer medium. It was still very good and tasted great. My wife had the chicken cordon bleu and... More
