If you are looking for good fried seafood you will be happy at the Sea Witch. I recommend NOT trying the "non-fried" seafood except for the lobster. This place excels at fried food so stick with that. I went to the Sea Witch many years ago and needed to use the men's room. As I was standing there urinating a... More

Very disappointed in the quality of the food here. Everything was soggy. Would never go back. Better off driving to Essex or Ipswich for the real deal.

Lived in the area all my life but never tried it until recently. Excellent, fresh seafood at a reasonable price!! Highly recommended!

Very casual restaurant. Order at the counter and the food is brought to you. The fish is excellent and very fresh, the menu extensive, the service very good. No atmosphere but the food will call you back again and again.

Super fresh fish prepared just right. Other restaurants may have style and panache, but I'll take the Sea Witch over the rest due to the quality of their seafood. Outstanding and worth the visit.

We referred here by girl at hotel nearby, (I had asked for a good seafood place) It is not fancy, as others wrote you place your order at the counter when you come in and a waitress brings it to you. The seafood was great, calamari was very tender and not in a heavy batter, clam chowder rich and delicious,... More

Though The famous Legal Seafood is a mere five miles away from Sea Witch, there is no comparison between these two restaurants. The fish at Sea Witch is fresher and more deliciously prepared than Legals. And the price is so much cheaper. Salmon, swordfish and scrod are beyond fabulous. And to make it an even more perfect restaurant, the staff... More

My husband and I ate here our first night in Boston, Saturday, August 31, 2013. It was a little unusual to place your order at the counter and then proceed to find your own seat – but that was part of the charm of finding a gem of a restaurant – instead of eating at an ordinary chain. We each... More

I was pleasantly surprised with this little hole in the wall. I wasn't going to go here as the drive by wasn't impressive but my hotel recommended them when I asked where to go for good seafood. This is a no frills kinda place. When you come in, there is a counter and you place and pay for your order... More

Yum! We have been craving Clam Chowder and fresh seafood and found our spot. Not fancy, not spectacular, but one of those hole- in-the - wall treasures with wonderful small town service and excellent food.
