One of my best restaurant visits ever, period. Does not look like much when you get there but man, they know how to barbeque. Everything we had was perfect, however their selection of sodas was a bit disapointing. But the food is great and this is a must go place if you are up in Peabody, highly reccomended. Cant wait... When you walk in the door of this restaurant you can tell that their food is going to be good. The pleasant smell of wood smoke tells you that they don't cut corners or use artificial ingredients in their cooking. The baby back ribs are WONDERFUL, the baked sweet potatoes are really good, the Dixie chicken is great...and the price... More

Food was very good, prices good and atmosphere is okay. Self-service. Wish there were better drinks to choose.

We go here from time to time and always leave happy. I come from a family of Great Southern cooks, my Mother is from NC and makes the BEST Fried Chicken and Pecan Pie in the World.......but even she doesn't make cornbread as moist and delicious, and I've got to admit my Collards aren't as good as Tennessee BBQ. If... More

I've been a satisfied customer for fifteen years. Their Memphis ribs are meaty, smoky and lean. Their slow smoking process gets rid of most of the fat, so don't bother with the baby back ribs. The brisket is also top notch. Based on my rib research, they have no competition.

We ate here after reading the reviews that other people posted on Tripadvisor and we were very glad that we did...I had the half chicken with corn bread, corn on the cob and mashed potatoes that were wonderful. My wife had the pulled chicken bbq that she said was delicious. They have an area were you can get more BBQ... More

Great BBQ food! Pulled pork corn bread and Mac n cheese are a must! You order upfront and bring into your own table. Prices are pretty fair. Most meals are about $12-$16 worth a try for lunch or dinner

As you walk in to Tennessee's you've got some saucy blues playing, not much vocal chatter but I could see lotsa guests' lips smackin and jaws chawin on fresh bodacious 'cue. There is a three meat item, "oink, Cackle and Moo" that I had with burnt end brisket (down home good) pulled pork and some memphis ribs. 3 sides came... More

Finally made a point to try Tennesee's and SO glad we did! At almost 10 months pregnant Tennesee's was a pregnant woman's meaty dream. My husband and I each had the 'oink, cackle and moo' platter. I highly recommend the Memphis Ribs - they are out of this world, best ribs around. The chicken was succulent, too. The brisket was... More

I just used Tennesse's to cater my husband's 40th birthday celebration. It was fabulous. The party was a surprise and they were great about being discreet. They arrived on time, had everythign they were supposed to and got set up quickly. The food was fabulous! Everythign was perfectly cooked and seasoned and our guests raved about the food. I would...
