Have been to Santarpio's many times...on Route One and also in East Boston. Love, love, love, the Italian sausage, served with hot peppers and crusty Italian bread...love, love, love the salad...have to share with someone, it is large! The pizza is unsurpassed...delicious all the way around. We get take out as well and bring it home to Maine. Have taken... More

Very good food and reasonably priced. We loved the lunch special. 7.99 for a pizza, salad and rolls that were terrific. If we lived nearby, we'd definitely make this place a regular stop. --We we had this at home.

As newcomers to the North Shore, everyone kept telling us to go to Santarpio's. One day, my daughter and I stopped by. The atmosphere was OK. All they had to offer was pizza and salad. And the pizza was not very good. If they had more on their menu we would consider a return visit. We won't be back.

Sizzling cheese, good sauce, great crust + barbecued lamb cooked over a wood fire with bread and two peppers as an appetizer. You gotta problem with that?

The pizza tasted pretty good not the best I have had. The place was old and dirty but a cool atmopshere. My family and I went for a late lunch and shortly when we got back to our hotel we all got so sick. Needless to say I will not be going back sadly, even though the pizza tasted pretty... More

No frills just good food. Limited menu but what they serve is very good. Steak and lamb tips with salad, best known for their pizza. Family owned with two locations. Bring your ID if you want a drink ,they do not serve without it no matter how old you are. Give it a try

We stopped here with our 13U baseball team for dinner after a long day in Freeport, Maine and what a great stop it was! The pizza was amazing, the staff was excellent and the atmosphere was family friendly. I would recommend to anyone to stop on by and have some pizza here - you won't be disappointed!!!

I like the East Boston Santarpio's, and I was excited when they built another restaurant in Peabody. The pizza is soupy. The service was not good. Their tips tasted like chalk. I have been a member of tripadvisor for quite some time, and I think this is my first review where I rated so poorly. I will not go back... More

Alright pizza but definately not the best that I have ever had.The toppings are good quality and heaped on but the crust and sauce could use some fine tunings. The sauce is a bit on the acidity side for me as I prefer a sweet sauce. We may venture back one day to try another selection, but who knows.
