Oh were to start . . . upon the recommendation of the hotel concierge, we located this funky breakfast/lunch dinner. Entering into The Little Depot Dinner is a step back in time. Originally a wheeled lunchwagon serving the working class factory workers, it was converted into a fixed dinner alongside the old railroad tracks in downtown Peabody. Has only 15... More

We saw this place on roadtrippers and decided to go there for breakfast. It is a charming little - really little - 16-seat lunchwagon/diner. The two servers that were there - Jade and Alicia - could not have been more welcoming and their attitude pervaded the adorable place. We had a delicious sandwich served on an English muffin - homemade... More

Living mainly in urban areas, I can't remember the last time I walked into a place and truly felt welcomed. The diner itself is tiny. Maybe 14 stools at a diner bar but it could not be any more welcoming and impeccably clean. You are immediately greeted by one of the waitresses that either direct you to an open seat... More

This diner is full of charm and and hospitality! When you enter you are like a member of the family! The owner makes his own Hungarian Kolbasi! It was tasty and nicely served! Everything is fresh and fun! A little train also goes around the diner's interior! The menus has lots to offer from Breakfast to lunch! It is not... More

Went here because it was on Diners, Drive In's and Dive's. TINY little restaurant, very local flavor and great food! The 2 servers were so nice and made sure you were fine for the entire stay.

Went there with a group of four for lunch. Who would have ever known so much goodness could be compacted into one little diner. It is quit small but who's not down for comfy and cozy! I had a burger which was DELICIOUS. Everything was so fresh and the staff was amazing. I think it was the owner who waited... More

What a remarkably fun and fabulous family run business. We love diners and choose this one from the TA recommends. So pleased with our choice ! Perky and pleasant waitstaff greeted us. Sat on bar stools ( no booths or tables) at end of diner. Choice of food combos were endless for a Sunday morning. We had the homemade kielbasa... More

The diner was everything I thought it would be. I will definitely go back. If you go you have to try the Hungarian sausage. We had the Hungarian eggs Benedict. Definitely will get it again.

We ate breakfast there last Sunday and it truly exceeded all our expectations. It is wicked tiny with only counter service ( and you may be asked to slide down if spots clear out ) but the food, atmosphere and music are great. The 2 waitresses were so friendly - they knew everyone by first name. I ordered a huge... More
